Meeting up in the hospital parking lot, Halstead and Shaylynn walk toward Med's front door. Walking in she texts Dr. Rhodes to let him know that they're there. He texts back for them to meet him up where ultrasounds are performed. Halstead sees Shaylynn's face, "What is it?" he asks. "I think something was left in me!" she tells him, "He wants me to have an ultrasound done!" Halstead tries to keep his facial expressions in check at the news Shaylynn gives him.

Arriving on the floor where ultrasound is located, Dr. Rhodes is standing waiting for them as they get off the elevator. "Let's go!" he tells Shaylynn and Halstead as he starts to walk away. "Connor, what is it?" Shaylynn asks in a panicked tone as she and Halstead rush behind Dr. Rhodes. Stopping at a door Dr. Rhodes opens it holding it open so Shaylynn and Halstead can walk in. "You know what to do," Dr. Rhodes tells Shaylynn. She gets up onto the table and pulls up her shirt to reveal her incision as Halstead stands beside her while Dr. Rhodes gets ready. He turns and looks to see Shaylynn has her shirt pulled, "Can you push your pants down a little?" he asks her. She looks at him weird but does what he asks. Dr. Rhodes puts the transducer on her, he looks at the screen as does Halstead. Halstead gets a surprised look on his face as Dr. Rhodes looks at Shaylynn, "I'm so sorry!" he tells her. "What do you mean your sorry? What is it?" Shaylynn questions. "We didn't know!" Dr. Rhodes tells her. "Connor!" Shaylynn shouts at him. "You were pregnant," Dr. Rhodes tells her, "We were in a rush to save your life we never thought to check to see if there was a chance of you being pregnant." Shaylynn can't believe what she's hearing! In one day her husband tells her he went home with a woman while she almost died. To find out she lost a man that was like an Uncle to her and meant so much to her and now finding out she WAS pregnant. "I can get a D&C scheduled for you," Dr. Rhodes tells her. "Now! Right now! I want it done now!" Shaylynn yells. Halstead tries to grab her hand but she pulls it back. Dr. Rhodes looks at her surprised, "I don't know if I can find someone to do the...." he tells her until she stops him. "Then you do it! If you can repair hearts and other organs, I imagine you can do this procedure!" she tells him. "Shaylynn..." Halstead says. She looks at him with a glare on her face, "I'll find someone to do it right now" Dr. Rhodes tells her standing up. He walks over to the door and walks out.
While waiting on Shaylynn, Halstead runs into his brother. Dr. Halstead sees the look on his brothers face, "Jay, what is it?" "Shaylynn was pregnant," Halstead says depressed. Dr. Halstead doesn't know what to say. There are no words for something like this.

A couple of weeks have gone by. Shaylynn and Halstead haven't spoken since the hospital. Through the grapevine, he found out that she's helping with an undercover investigation that's dealing with military weapons, C4, etc. He knows that she's perfect for the job with her background, but he has no idea where she is or what she's actually involved in.
Walking into Molly's he sees a familiar face and sits down at his table. Knowing he's the one who's behind the undercover job Shaylynn's on Halstead strikes up a conversation. "Where's Shaylynn?" Halstead asks.
