I slowly turned my head, finding Uriah, Zeke and Four looking through my phone. "Wha-what are you doing?" I said through heavy eyes.

"Don't worry about it right now. Rest," Zeke said.

Four walked over to me and sat on the edge of my bed, tucking my hair behind my ear and kissing my forehead. "No- wh....what are you looking at," I asked, pulling myself from my slumber.

"It's nothing. It's okay baby," he said gently.

"Did-..... did he say anything?" I asked.

Tobias paused, looking back at them. "Just focus on getting better," he said, landing a gentle kiss onto my lips.

I weakly caught his shirt, pulling him back towards me. "Please- don't leave me," I pleaded.

"Okay."

He sat beside me, gently stroking my back soothingly. "I love you," he said very gently.

"I love you too."

I couldn't stop my eyes from closing, and in a few quick minutes, I was out.

——————————

Bright lights cast into my eyes and I turned over in annoyance. "Tris...... up," I heard a voice say.

I groaned. Someone gently rolled me back over onto my back. I snapped my eyes open in irritation. ""Whattttt," I snapped.

"We can leave now," Zeke cooed.

"I'm tiredddd....." I replied lazily.

"You need to get dressed," Uriah replied gently.

"Oh and Merry Christmas Eve," Zeke added.

I sat up slowly. I swung my legs over the bed and stood, stumbling a bit. Zeke handed me an outfit. Tobias started, "I can help you change-"

"No," Zeke snapped before Tobias could even get the words out.

I stumbled and Tobias caught my arm. I rubbed my eyes, ridding them of sleep. "Fine. Go." Zeke said, his voice cold and annoyed.

Tobias walked me to the bathroom and sat me down on the toilet, pulling my clothes off for me. "Merry Christmas eve, love," I said.

He lifted his gaze from the oversized sweater he had been carrying over to me. He sat it down beside me and pulled my lips to his own. "Merry Christmas Eve to you too love," he said, landing a soft kiss on my lips.

I pulled him closer to me and depended the kiss but he broke apart, smiling at me. "Come on, let's get you dressed," he said, pulling the jumper over my head.

I finished getting dressed and we headed out to an annoyed Zeke and Uriah. "Ready?" Zeke asked.

I slowly nodded and we headed out.

------------------

They sat me down on the couch when we got back home. Here comes the questions. They left me alone for the past few days. I knew the questions were coming, and rightfully so. I tried to end my life. And they haven't asked me anything since the incident. I didn't feel like being interrogated. They were watching my every move. At the hospital, and now at home. I nervously shifted as they all sat down, facing towards me. They just surveyed me for a moment.

"What?" I asked, glancing at them.

"Why?" Uriah asked, his eyes full with tears.

I opened my mouth to speak, but closed it quickly after. They didn't get it. They never would. They could try, and they could comfort me. But they will never get it. "Tris, I just want to know," Zeke added.

I glanced over to him. His gentle brown eyes pleaded with me. My heart ached. "I'm sorry," I mumbled.

"Why? you have so much. Why were you willing to give it all up," Zeke said, tears in his eyes.

Anger flared up. "So much?" I repeated.

"You have me and Uriah and-"

"Exactly. All I had left was you and Uriah. Even my own mother doesn't want me. I've lost everyone in my life. This person- who ever he is, showed me. I have nothing left. Even Four barely wants me. My dad is dead. And I never hang out with my friends anymore because I'm busy worrying about what will happen If I do! Okay? I'm scared! I didn't want to do it anymore. I couldn't. It was my only way out of this."

"That's isn't true- none of that," Uriah said.

"Cut it out. You all pretend to care, pretend to understand. You all look at me like I'm a weak pathetic girl who has nothing left. Who's own family doesn't want her because she's a 'disgrace'," I snapped, standing up.

"Beatrice Stop it!" Uriah snapped, making me jump.

He never took that tone with me, no matter how angry he was. "Now you're going to sign me up for support groups and send me off to get 'help'. I'm not a psycho. I'm not crazy," I said.

"That's not at all-"

I cut off Tobias by grabbing my keys and bag. "Where the hell do you think you're going?" Zeke snapped.

"Out. I don't have to sit here well you question me," I replied.

"No, you're not," he replied, catching my wrist.

"Tris stop it," Tobias tried.

I yanked my wrist free. "Don't you dare leave," Uriah said with frustration.

"Why? It's not like I'm wanted here," I snapped, a tear falling down my face.

I swiped it away quickly. "Tris you know that isn't true," Tobias said immediately.

"Do I?" I snapped quick, turning on my heel.

I turned the knob to open it but Zeke reached over my shoulder, shutting it immediately. "Stop, you are NOT leaving," he said with frustration.

I ducked under his arm, throwing my bag across the floor. "Cool. You're awesome," I sarcastically muttered.

"Cut it out," Uriah replied.

"Excuse me, I'm going to my room. Unless you aren't going to let me go there either," I growled.

"Oh my god, just fucking stop!" Zeke shouted, growing angry.

"You aren't my father, so stop acting like it!" I shouted back.

"Grow up!" Zeke exclaimed.

"Once you all stop acting like you run my fucking life!" I shouted over my shoulder, walking up the steps.
