We had finished making food for lunch after cleaning up the mess. Tobias was especially quiet. I could tell he was hiding something. After lunch I sat next to him on the couch. "What's wrong?" I asked."Nothing. I'm fine love," he said with a smile.
"You're being quiet. What are you hiding?" I said suspiciously.
"I'm not-" I gave him my puppy eyes.
"Ok. Fine. I have another present for you," he said with a small smile.
"Baby, you didn't need to," I said gently.
"You've been so amazing, it's the least I could do," he said kissing my neck.
"Now, I'll be right back. I have to go get it," he said with a smile.
I nervously crossed my legs and waited impatiently. Everyone was watching me with smile son their faces. "What?" I said with confusion.
"We know what he got you," Eddie said.
"Can't believe Chrissy hasn't spilled yet," I teased.
"Hey!" She yelled.
The fornt door opened and my heart dropped. 2 puppies. Tiny little border collies. "Oh my god! YOU GOT ME PUPPIES!" I shouted.
Tobias broke out into a wide smile and the puppies ran at me. "You got me two!" I shouted.
"Sisters. They're rescues and couldn't be separated so I just got them both," Tobias said.
"Oh my god Ilove them so much!" I exclaimed.
"Told you she'd love them," Ezi said with a smile.
I was on my knees cuddling them both to death. The girls were now petting them beside me. "I've wanted a dog for so long four, oh my god this is amazing," I said, picking up one of them.
"The one your holding is Paris. The one Mar has is Annabelle," Tobias said with a smile, squatting beside me.
"How old are they?" Eddie asked, now petting Annabelle.
"They're about 4 months. Potty trained and already know a few tricks," Four told us.
"Babe, this is amazing. Thank you so much," I said kissing him, the dog sticking her face between ours.
"Least I could do. You've been the best friend and girlfriend I could ask for," he said, kissing my cheek lightly.
"THEYRE SO CUTE!" Chrissy screamed, the dog now licking her face.
Okay, now it's by far the best day ever.

We laughed as sipped hot chocolate, sitting around the vast family room. Snow was now falling, adding to the prior 5 inches. I sat in Tobias lap, his arms wrapped around my waist. I let my head rest against his chest. We watched 'home alone', all cuddled up in thick blankets. "Who wants more hot chocolate?" I asked, smiling.
Hot chocolate was probably the one thing I was really good at making. Well, the only thing. Four people raised their hands and I collected cups, heading to the kitchen to make some. I started warming the milk and preparing the chocolate. I leaned against the kitchen counter, my eyes wondering in boredom. My eyes stopped on a picture of dad, mom, and i from when I was about 9. I felt my lip involuntarily quiver at the thought of him and tears welled in my eyes. When I lost my dad, my mom left with him. She was never the same person. She'd leave all the time, sticking us with babysitters and nannys. She never loved us the same way she used to. She walked on eggshells around us, well, when she was around us. I started stirring everything, wiping quick at the tear that trickled down my face. "Trissy," uri said, his smiling face appearing.
I turned my head to him and his smile faltered. "What's wrong?" He asked nervously, walking to me.
"I just miss dad."
His eyes followed mine to the picture and his own eyes welled with tears. "I-I know tris," he mumbled.
"He was- I loved him uri. It's never been the same without him," I sniffled.
"He wouldn't want us crying on Christmas now, would he? we can think about him being gone, or, we can think about how amazing he was when he was alive. Tris, he could light up any room he walked into. His smile was contagious and his jokes could get anyone laughing. He was our best friend, and I refuse to let you cry on a day that's so joyful and happy. Now let's get everyone their hot chocolate. I think today calls for a little fun in the snow," uri told me, gently taking the freshly made cups and leading the way to everyone.
"Alright everyone, gear up! It's time to have some fun in the snow," uriah shouted, a wide smile on his face.
Everyone cheered in agreement before getting up. "Snowpants and boots in the two closets in the kitchen and other living room. Bunch of different sizes. gloves, hats, and scarves in the white dresser. If you need a coat, they're also in the closets," zeke explained before turning and heading to the closets.
I found some snow pants from when zeke was younger and some small boots. I zipped everything up before heading outside with everyone.
------------
I sprinted past Marlene, rolling in the snow to avoid a fatal hit from a snowball. I fell into a deep pocket of snow, sinking in deep. I wiggled, getting myself unstuck before standing up. A snowball slammed into my back, knocking me off valence, causing me to fall back into the snow bank. I rolled over and get up before taking off, running as fast as my boots would allow. "Get tris!" I heard Eddie yell.
I broke off into a faster sprint and a snowball sailed past me. Four ran out in front of me and I curved off, turning towards my back yard. A snowball nailed me in the side of the head and I fell, landing in the snow hard. "Hey! CHEAP SHOT!" I screamed.
Another snowball hit me in the back and I groaned. "Tris!" I heard Marlene scream.
Four and Zeke stood over me, disappointed looks on their faces. A snowball sailed in, nailing Zeke hard in the face and he stumbled, giving me time to get to my feet. Tobias caught my waist and picked me up, flinging me over his shoulder. "Four, this is so cheating. Put me down! Don't you dare-"
He threw me into the massive snow bank. I sunk deep into it, my head only sticking out. Everyone broke into laughs as my cheeks burned beat red. Oh, I'm so going to get him back.
