Renjun knew exactly why he chose fear as the emotion he wanted to do. It's because he was constantly in fear of not getting good grades in lessons, he also thought that Jeno could relate to that, although he didn't show it if he did.

Renjun thought back to what Jeno had said to him. 'I think your talented too'. The brunette didn't know why it shocked him so much when he said it. Maybe it was because he was always comparing his work to Jeno's, constantly thinking that the younger boy was the more talented.

He shakes the thoughts away as he pushes through the crowded hallways and to the cafeteria.

He gets a coffee, like usual, then finds Jisung and Chenle sat at their usual table. They smile at him once he takes a seat.

"How was your lesson hyung?" Jisung asks as he opens up a bag of gummy bares and tucks in. This kid is going to rot his teeth away before the age of eighteen at this rate.

"It was...okay" Renjun hesitated slightly, not knowing exactly how to answer that question. The lesson was definitely interesting.

"Didn't you start group projects with that guy you hate? How was that?" Chenle asked, pulling the bag of gummy bares away from Jisung and taking a handful. This kid was also going to rot all his teeth away before the age of eighteen.

"I don't hate him, he just intimidates me slightly because he's my main competition in that class..." he explains, however it looked like neither of them were listening anyway "...it was fine".

"Oh guys I just remembered! The performance subjects are putting on a show next week and they asked me to do a solo dance, your welcome to come and watch" Jisung beams as he shoves gummy bares into his mouth.

"Eh just tell us what time you'll be on stage and I'll show up then, I don't think I can stand to watch the drama students they make me cringe and-" Chenle starts only to earn a hard kick under the table from Renjun.

"We'll be there" the older boy smiles before shooting Chenle a glare.

"Wait, weren't you offered to be in the show?" Renjun asks causing Chenle to pull a disgusted face.

"Yeah I was, but I'm to busy practicing for examinations to be in a silly show" he replies earning yet another kick from Renjun.
"Will you stop!"

The older boy rolls his eyes. God Chenle needs to learn to think before he speaks.

That night Renjun left the school gates. He gripped onto his bag and hung his head.
His mind was overthinking everything. Even if Jeno was talented, what if they still failed the project.

Renjun shook his head slightly "no think positive" he says to himself before lifting his head and picking up his walking pace.

"Sunbae!" A voice yells and the brunette feels himself tense up on instinct. Slowly he turns to see a smiling Jaemin walking up to him, his light brown hair glistening slightly in the low afternoon sun.

"Hey!" He says once he catches up to the older boy only to earn a smile in response.
"Can I walk with you?... if you don't want me to, I can go walk with Jeno" Jaemin says as he takes a step back.

"You can walk with me if you like, I don't mind" Renjun gives the younger boy another smile before they both started walking.

"So how's working with Jeno going?" Jaemin asks and Renjun snaps his attention straight to him. How was it going?

Renjun knew that Jaemin had a silly little crush on him, but what if everything said right now was going to be told to Jeno. Did Jeno send him?

The older boy tries to look around discreetly for any sign of the dark haired boy before answering. "It's okay, why'd you ask?".

Jaemin sighs slightly and looks down. "Because I know he can come across as quite a cold person, and that might make it difficult to work with him..." he starts and Renjun focuses his gaze back on the younger boy.

"...but he really is a nice person, and you two are the most talented people in the class so you'll definitely get a good grade" Jaemin gives the older boy a smile before shaking his head slightly "sorry I'm rambling, I'll go now. I just wanted to see if you were okay" he rushes before starting to walk off.

Renjun reaches forward and grabs his arm "you said you would walk with me, don't go back on your word" he gives the younger boy a smile when he sees the shocked expression on his face.

Jaemin mutters a small 'okay' before continuing to walk beside the brunette.

The truth is that, yes Jaemin may be annoying sometimes, but Renjun knew he meant no harm and he decided to take the whole crush situation as a compliment. Jaemin was also really good company.

They spent most of the walk home talking about moomin.
Renjun had no idea that Jaemin was interested in Moomin, but it wouldn't come much as a surprise if the younger boy only likes them because he knew Renjun did.

It wasn't long before they reached Jaemin's house and had to part ways. "Thanks for letting me walk with you!" He beams, his smile so bright it could almost blind someone.

"No problem, you were great company" Renjun replies before returning the smile and carrying on his way to his own house.
