*ANNA'S POV*

I gasped in fear and frantically tried to back up, slamming into a table and falling over in the process. Alex approached me and grabbed my hair, an evil smirk on his face. My breathing quickened in fear of what he could do to me. He threw me to the ground, my head hitting the floor. I felt myself getting dizzy as the world began to spin. I forced myself up onto my elbows and squinted at Alex. His hand reached for me. I feebly tried to squirm a way when I saw a flash of silver and felt cold metal pressed against my throat. I froze, still unable to see clearly. Alex leaned close to me, his breath hot and sticky against my neck. "Move and I'll kill you." I froze in fear. He smirked. "Good girl." And now, I'm going to have some fun with you. But first... I don't want you to fight me..." He grabbed my shirt and cut a strip off the bottom, using it to tie my hands to the fan hanging from the ceiling. I squirmed and pulled on the makeshift rope experimentally, but felt too weak and dizzy to truly make an attempt. If I had been eating, I probably could've gotten free, but I felt faint. Alex grinned evilly and got closer. I tried to squirm away again, but then I felt something hard connect with my head and everything went black, leaving the last image in my mind Alex's face, full of malice and hatred. I passed out afraid.
