*AMELIA'S POV*
I watched as my husband's face went deathly pale. "W- what? No, please. Please don't do that to him!! I don't care if I die, just don't force him to do it! I'm begging you... I'll do anything, please." I smirked.
"Well, if you'll truly do anything, then-" I was cut off by a motorcycle pulling up outside. It sounded familiar. I glanced back at James, who was staring at the door, seemingly afraid. Then I realized why it sounded familiar. Eli drives a motorcycle. And that was clearly his engine I heard. I silently crept to the door and peered through a small gap. A person got off the bike and removed their helmet, revealing long, brown waves and icy blue eyes. I smiled. Anna. Perfect. I stood right next to the door, gun in hand, ready to strike. Slowly, the door creaked open.
"Hello?" I jumped out, grabbed Anna, and put a gun to her head.
"Keep quiet or I'll fire. And that wouldn't be pretty, would it?" I threatened. I felt Anna breathing heavily, obviously terrified. I quickly shoved her into a chair, keeping the gun aimed at her. I stared at James. "Tie her up," I demanded. He remained still, not meeting my eyes. "Now!" With my shout, he sprung into action, grabbing rope that I'd brought here, and beginning to tie Anna to the chair. Once she was immobile, I handed him the gun. "Stand behind her and point it at her head. I want this to be the first thing Eli sees when he comes in the door." As James did what I'd said, I called Eli. He picked up on the first ring.
"Mom?! Where are you?! Are you ok?!" I smirked.
"Eli!!! Help me! Please, he has a gun! I'm at a warehouse! It's dark and empty, please just come sa-" I hung up, then turned to Anna and James, smiling cruelly. "Soon, you'll both be gone. And nobody will remain to prove otherwise."
