BTS reaction to meeting your parents

Kim Seokjin

seokjin would try to remain calm, he would have got all of his clothes several weeks before making sure they fit nicely even though he knows that your parents probably won't care at all about what he is wearing.

he would make a lot of joke on the drive there, trying to lighten the mood because he knows how much nervous are running through him. he would constantly say you're more nervous than him, yet he took a cab there which you concluded was because he was too nervous to drive.

"y/n are you nervous?"
"no I think you're more nervous than I am."
"pfft I am not!"
"then why aren't you driving?"
"I don't want to get my hands sweating!"

your parents would love him, putting aside how nervous he would be at first. he wouldn't be too nervous to still hug you and hold your hand that would not be an issue for him in front of your parents; he would never cross the line around them however.

Min Yoongi

he would completely deny the fact that he is nervous, he wouldn't even make any excuses he would simply just deny that he is nervous to meet your parents. there would be no signs that he was nervous because he wouldn't show them at all.

however, he is very nervous. in his heart he's just freaking out and he's very nervous; he doesn't want you to think he's weak so he doesn't show it but when you come round to him he'll crumple under your touch.

"yoongs, I know you're nervous."
"you can smell it can't you? I'm so fucking nervous babe."
"don't be."
"do I look it?"
"not at all."

he would be too scared to touch you or even sit next to you when you're eating dinner with the family, so he would sit in your father's seat by accident which would be more embarrassing than just sitting next to you even if your parents are there.

Jung Hoseok

Hoseok would surprisingly be very collected and wouldn't have much of a problem. he would of course be a little nervous but I think he would be the least nervous out of all of them; this is because I think he isn't going to put on that 'meeting them for the first time' act and he's just going to be himself.

it would be like just a normal day with Hoseok but with your parents, you would definitely be more nervous than he is to meet your parents. you would be all over the place trying to put everything together yet he would be telling you we're everything is and helping you out.

"Hoseok, I can't find my hair brush."
"it's on top of the piano babe."
"oh tha- shit I can't find my jack-"
"it's around you waist."
"right."

he would say a lot of embarrassing things that you think is empty but when you over at him you can see that he doesn't care as much; which just shows how you shouldn't either. you love him for him anyway so...

Kim Namjoon

this man would come prepared, he would have woken up two hours early setting everything up because he insisted that they come to your house for dinner; this was clearly to make you feel more comfortable with the whole situation.

you would have barely brush your teeth when he was in the kitchen trying to cook for your parents. the house as already set up and they weren't meant to be here for another three hours, he was going a little crazy clearly.

"don't burn down the house joonie, just call seokjin."
"I don't need him."
"call him or I will."
"fine, but we're telling them I cooked it."

the dinner would have been lovely and seokjin would have snuck out before your parents knew he was in the house. he would have had a whole speech to say but would have forgotten where he put the paper and ended up fucking it up completely just saying random shit.

which your parents thought was amazing.

I wrote that really quickly

I'm listening to the whole HER album because TEAR is coming out at 10am here
and that's when I need to wake up to get ready for college
fuck my life
at least I'll have it on the way to college
but I have an assessment tomorrow
I'm going to just be thinking about the album
I'm gonna fail

something really embarrassing happened to me with my crush today
I don't even want to talk about it
I just wanna turn into a ball and die
I can't do it anymore omg

It's 1 am here
I'm very tired
I don't know why I'm still awake
