Every time I was around Chase, my heart wavered. My cheeks burned when he laughed, my stomach churned when he smiled at me, my heart ached when he cockily smirks. Why does he make me feel like this? I pushed it away, I needed to focus. I sighed and moved the stray pieces of hair from my face. My hair was in a messy bun and I wore Chase's sweatpants and a random t-shirt. I was doing a test, an important one to. I told the boys not to come into the room unless it was an emergency, like if the house was on fire. I needed to pass this! I sighed angrily, I can't focus! Chase makes me focus. "No!" I mumbled, rubbing my eyes with my palms, "No Chase, just this test. This test and me." Determination had finally set in.

~Several Weeks Later~

Chase nervously bit his nails as I stared down at the large envelope in my small hands. We were both scared to open it. "This can only go two ways." I began. I opened the letter and quickly scanned the first paragraph. "I passed." I whispered softly. Chase smiled, "That's amazing!" But my smile soon dropped as I continued to read. "What? What is it?" He asked worriedly. "They want me to take the job." I reply. "That's good. As long as you're here-" "In Japan." I interrupted. His smile soon disappeared like mine, "Oh." We both awkwardly shuffled our feet. I needed this job, but why Japan? "This is good for you." He began, "It's just for a couple of years, then you'll be back home with me." I could tell he wanted to make it better. I didn't want to leave Chase Brody. He lightly nudged my body, "Don't worry about it, Hipster. You can call me whenever you want, I'll always answer.

~Weeks Later~

Everything was packed, and I was -sadly- ready to go. Chase was going to drive me to the airport so we could eat breakfast together before I had to fly out. I woke up an hour early to ensure that I had everything I could possibly need for this trip. I looked over at Chase, who slept peacefully on the couch. Without thinking, I grabbed his hand, intertwining our fingers. I placed a kiss on his palm as the tears built up in my eyes.  "I need some air." I quietly mumbled. I quickly made my way out of the apartment and into the stairwell. I couldn't leave Chase. He means so much to me! And I never got to tell him how I felt... . Suddenly, there was a hand over my mouth, and a quick pinch in my neck. I drunkenly shoved the person away as I tried to make my way back inside the apartment. I couldn't move. A muffled 'Chase' escaped my lips as I fell onto the tile floor.

I was chained to a pole with silver handcuffs. They were on so tight that they bruised my wrists. My legs were free, and that didn't leave a good feeling in my stomach. Where was I? The floor was cold as it was  just concrete, the walls were unfinished. There was only one small window, I could probably barely fit through it. Basement, maybe? Behind me was a boiler, I could feel the heat resonating off of it onto me. "Oh. You're awake." A familiar voice chuckled. I listened as their footsteps approached me. Looking up, I noticed that it was...Justin? He had a camera. A camera? This is what this was all about? A silly picture? "What are you going to do to me?" I asked sternly. "I just want to tell ole' Chasey boy to leave my baby doll alone. You're mine. He can't take you away from me." Justin assembled his camera onto a tall tripod, the lens faced me, "And we're live!" Live? Like on YouTube? Justin came back around to the front and smiled widely, "Hello Chase! This is coming to you live! And I know you're watching." Justin squatted next to me and grabbed a chunk of my hair, pulling it to make me face the lens, "I've got (Y/N) over her. I won't do anything to her. Not yet anyways. But, I want to make a deal with you. Your life for her's." "Chase, no!" I cried, "Don't do it!" Justin threw me backwards, my arm touched the boiler, and burned my skin. I screamed. "See that? The longer you take to find me, the more harm will be done. I'm not going to give everything to you, Brody. That would be boring." I tried to kick at Justin, but I couldn't reach him. I began to cry, I was scared. "Better hurry up." He chuckled darkly.

My arms dripped blood, old and new. I had bruises all over my legs and torso from Justin punishing me. He cut me. I felt weak, like I could drift off to sleep at any given moment. But I couldn't. If I fell asleep, Justin could do whatever he wanted. I knew what he wanted, and I wasn't going to let that happen. I suddenly heard a slamming door, and the pounding of feet from the surface. Someone is here. Someone can save me. "Hey!" I called weakly, "I'm down here! Help me, please!" Suddenly, the basement door swung opened, and Justin shoved someone in, "Thanks for joining the party!" The man stumbled and hit his back against the pole on the other side of the room. Justin took this opportunity to chain the man up. "Go to hell." The man whispered. Justin chuckled, "I'll see you there." Justin shut the door behind him. The light from the moon hit the man's face, lighting up his faded green hair and bright blue eyes. "Chase?" I whispered. His head suddenly jerked up to the sound of my voice, it was Chase.             "(Y/N)! You're alive! This makes my night a little bit better." Chase chuckled. "Why are you here?" I asked. "I got Robin to find your location, and I was coming here to save you. Justin is so much stronger than I thought." He admitted. I smiled slightly, I'm glad I had Chase, even at times like this. He looked at my arms, "He cut you." He suddenly stood up, screaming, "Just wait till I get my hands on you, Bastard!" I began to break down in tears, all hope was lost. "Hey, hey, hey! Don't cry." He begged. "We're going to die here, Chase. No one is going to come and save us." I sobbed. "Don't say that, we'll find a way out." He tried to make my way over to me, but his restraints didn't get him very far. "God, I wish I could hold you right now." He whispered inaudibly. I closed my eyes and leaned my head against the pole, the tears still falling down my cold face. I listened as Chase jerked desperately on his cuffs, trying to break them off the pole. "I've tried, Chase." I whispered, making him stop, "It won't work." Silence fell between us for a little. "You need to sleep, Love." Chase stated, "I won't let anything happen while you're asleep. I promise." I looked at him, "You have to sleep to." "No, I don't. Don't worry about me. Sleep."
