~ Your Perspective ~
Every inch of my body ached. I whined loudly, "Someone help me..." My stomach churned and cramped as I squeezed the bed railing, tears falling down my face as I screamed in pain. A nurse quickly rushed in and grabbed some medicine from the cabinet, "Please be still, Doll. This is going to help with the pain." I nodded slowly, biting my lip as she shoved the needle into my arm, pumping the liquid into my veins. I closed my eyes to shut out the pain, "H-Have you contacted C-Chase...?" "Yes, Dear." She answered, "And he said that he's booking the earliest flight possible to get to you." I smiled warmly at her and thanked her for everything she's done for me so far. She ran her hand over my head and then exited the room. I looked down at my stomach, stitches running across my old pregnancy scar...I guess I wasn't pregnant after all, and if I was, it's gone now. Tears fell from my (E/C) eyes, why is this happening to me? "Where is she?!" Someone yelled, "Where's my baby?!" "You better tell us where she is right now! Or you'll have problems!" Another one yelled. "She's in room 304." A nurse stuttered out. My room door barged open, revealing two people, a couple. My eyes widened, "M-Mom?! Dad?!" My mother covered her mouth as her tears fell down her face, "My poor baby!" My father watched from a distance as my mother drowned me in kisses "God kid." He smiled, wiping away his tears, "You gave us a heart attack." I smiled at him, then carefully moving myself up onto the bed to offer room for my parents to sit. "What happened?!" Mom panicked. I giggled gently, "I was just in a little wreck, I had to go get someone, and I accidentally drove off the road." My dad patted my leg softly and caressed my face, "I'm just glad you're...you're still with us..." I smiled at them warmly. "Oh, mom...dad...I need to tell you something..." I called. They both looked at me, every bit of attention on me. Before I could get what I needed out, the door opened again. It was Chase. His brown hair was a mess, his eyes red and puffy. In his hand was a bouquet of red roses, and the other was his phone. "Thank god you're alright!" He cried. He rushed toward me, wrapping me in a hug, and a beautiful kiss. Tears fell down our faces, we were already back in each other's arms. "Are you okay? Concussion? Memory loss? Did you hear anything about the pregnancy-" "Pregnancy?!" My father snapped. My mother looked over at Chase and I, confusion laced in her eyes, "Honey...who's this...?" Chase pulled away and stuck his hand out to my parents, "You must be her parents. I'm sorry we have to meet on such an occasion. I'm Chase Brody, her boyfriend." My mom gently shook his hand, "Boyfriend? My baby has a boyfriend?" My dad shook his hand, then crossing his arms across his chest, "What is this I hear about pregnancy?" "Dad, we thought I was pregnant, but I'm not. There's a lot that's been going on since I left." I stated quickly. My father rocked on his feet, still giving Chase a death stare. "I can't...I mean, I can, but it's difficult for me to have children." I stuttered out. "Oh honey, I'm so sorry..." "No, it's fine..." I smiled sadly, "So...I missed my period, and I thought I was pregnant...so I told Chase...but we're not..." Chase sympathetically rubbed my back gently. "Why didn't you tell us about Mr. Brody here?" Dad asked quietly. Chase butted in, "Its been pretty hectic around here in Brighton lately." They both nodded knowingly. "Olivia!" I cried, grabbing Chase's forearm, "Where's Olivia?" He gently pushed my arm off of his skin, "She's fine, I promise. Robin went and got her for me, and I send the police to Stacy's home. Everything is fine, Love." Some tears threatened to spill as Chase smiled at me. I was glad that he was here. "Can we see the damage?" My dad asked. My head fell down to my abdomen, slowly lifting my hospital gown to show my slash. Dried blood gathered around my wound, the flesh pink with irritation. Chase seemed to freeze in place, his eyes wandering all over me. I was tempted to run my hand over the marking...I wanted to feel the pain...to feel that I was alive...that I was here with Chase and my parents. With concerned eyes, Chase grasped my hand, his body shaking wildly. "We should leave them be, dear..." My mom offered quietly and grabbed my father's hand, leading him from my hospital room. Chase and I watched as they shut the door behind them. He's head fell down, "I'm going to kill Stacy for what she's done to you..." "Don't say that!" I snapped, "But...it's not right what she's been doing..." "She's trying to KILL YOU, (Y/N)! She's hit me with her car, she drugged you, kidnapped you AND Olivia! And now this!" He raked his shaky hands through this hair, "We've got to do something about her!" "We should go to the police..." I muttered quietly. I listened to his trembling breaths, cold tears slowly falling down his red cheeks. "What is the future going to be like for us, (Y/N)?" He sobbed, "It's like we can never get a break..." I gently rubbed his back and kissed his temple, placing a small smile into my pink lips, "Let's not worry about that right now. Let's focus on the present, on us." He smiled back, pulling me close to kiss his lips. My placed my hands on the side of his face, gently rubbing his cheeks. But all too soon, I pulled away, "What did you do about you tour....?" He gave me a small smile and ran a hand through his hair, "I canceled the shows-" "You what?!" I screamed, "Chase! People paid money for those! You paid money to have those shows!" "I know." He said in defense, "But you come first. You will always come first."
