Chapter 35

"Kevin this is it!" I grab his shoulders and give then alittle squeeze. "Preform this flawlessly and we could win!" "We will win!" He looks at me with intensidy. "Up next to the stage, for the last time! Maddie and Kevin!" Tom anounces and the crowd go wild. I'm gonna take that as a good sign.

We got out there and preformed perfectly! The judges called our samba "Brodway ready, perfect" and it gave Len chills! I think we have this season in the bag. Sadly we have to go up against the amazing, bone chilling, proud to call my boyfriend Derek Hough and Jennifer Lawrence.

Kevin and I sit around back stage watching act after act go by waiting for our que to go back on stage. "Kevin? Maddie?" Our eyes light up as we turn to the door. "Are you ready for results? It's time." Kevin lets out a big huff and looks into my eyes before he stands up to head to the stage. As he walks out the door I squeeze he shoulders and jump up and down shouting "WE CAN DO IT! WE CAN WIN!" In a fun jingle.

They cut back from commercial and Derek and Jennifer are standing next to Kevin and I on stage, as we wait nervously for the results. Tom walks out on to the stage with his mic and I squeeze Kevin's hand really hard. "Ow!" He leans over and whispers in my ear. "I'm sorry," I whisper back. "It's just I'm really nervous. I have a lot to prove to Len and to everyone for that reason." "What do you mean?" Kevin looks puzzled. "At the begging of all this Derek told me I was hired but really I wasn't he never talked to anyone about it and so Len caught me 'working' and told me I'm hired for this season but if I don't win then I'm fired never to work here ever again." "Oh, well no need to worry we're gonna win!" Kevin kisses my cheek and smiles.

"And we're back! Time to find out this seasons winner is! Is it Derek and Jennifer? Or Maddie and Kevin? And the winner is........... MADDIE AND KEVIN!"
