All I hear is our names called, next thing I know Kevin picked me up and twirled me around. I feel like I proved my point to everyone, a new girl can succeed. "Maddie! Kevin! Come here! How does it feel to be winners?" Kevin takes the mic. "Amazing! I never thought I'd be able to dance this well and be a champion of Dancing With The Stars! I couldn't have done it without this girl!" He gives me a little hug. "Maddie how's it feel to be the ew coach and win?" "Well Tom, it feels pretty frickn amazing! I'd like to start off by saying HA HA LEN! YOU CAN'T GET RID OF ME!" Len laughs and smiles. "And may I add that I just beat worlds best dancer Derek Hough. Like wow!" "You're right Maddie! Congratulations to Kevin and Maddie! Now go celebrate!" I give Tom a hug and run over to Derek as Kevin takes the trophy from Tom.

"You were right, you did it!" Derek gives me a hug. "A hug? That's all I get?" He laughs and pulls me in for a kiss. "Hey!" He pulls away "I have something for you." "Oh what?" He hands me a picture. "What is it?" I turn the picture over to see its the finished house. "Oh my god Derek! It's perfect!" I move the picture out of my face to see Derek kneeling on the ground. "You like it huh?" "Derek.......why are you on one knee?!" "Maddie, we've grown really close with in the past few months and I can't picture myself living in that house with anyone else but you. You're perfect in every single way. I never thought a student of mine would become a friend. And I didn't expect that friend to become the love of my life. Maddie, I love you. You are the music to my dance and I'd like to know if you'll marry me?" "OMG! Derek! Yes!" He slides the ring on my finger and kisses me. May I add it was the best kiss I've ever had.

Then I feel a tap on my shoulder. "Sorry to interrupt but...." "It ok Kevin, what would you like?" "Here." He hands me the trophy. "Kevin.....what are you doing? You deserve that." He laughs "You're the one who taught me everything I know, plus you've proven Len wrong. And I have a bunch of trip us already. This ones yours. Take it!" I start to laugh " ok fine! You can have it one weekends." He starts laughing too. He gives me a hug and heads over to the glee cast over in the audience.

"Ready to head home fiancée?" Derek bumps my hip. I kiss his cheek "I thought you'd never ask!"
