Evan got home and his mother needed to leave again. She was going to be out for a few hours, and the boy through it would be a great opportunity to text Connor. He was just so exited to have made a new "friend".
He went to his room and quickly grabbed his phone. He took a deep breath and started typing.
Evan: Hey Connor! Just testing if that's really your number heh...
After sending the message, he covered his face with his two hands.
"Seriously Hansen? I thought you could do better".
For his surprise, Connor quickly answered.
Connor: Hey Ev! How is it going?
Evan: Fine. What about u?
Connor: Same
Connor: Sooooo... what should we talk about?
Evan: Idk... maybe the things we like?
Connor: Ok.. So uh, u can start if u want
Evan: Oh! Fine
Evan:Oh sorry, I gtg now : ( . Can we talk l8r?
Connor: Sure
Connor:Bye Ev
Connor: See ya
Evan wasn't being as cool as he wanted. He wasn't so good at talking to people, but fortunately he knew someone that was.
He decided to text Jared, explain him the whole history and then ask for help.
Evan: Hi Jared
Jared: Hi Hansen
Jared: Before you say anything
Jared : WHY THE HELL WAS YOU SITTING WITH CONNOR MURPHY ??
Evan: Oh...
Evan: Well, he was my partner at the literature class
Evan: And he invited me to lunch together
Jared: AND WHY DID U ACCEPTED?!! U STUPID BITCH
Jared: Man, he could have killed you
Evan: How?! He seemed so nice and kind...
Evan: AND DON'T CALL ME STUPID BITCH AGAIN
Jared: Connor Murphy? Nice and kind? This is probably a joke
Evan: Well... let's stop talking about if Connor is or isn't mean
Evan: But actually we were texting and I got nervous and Idk what to say
Evan: Can u help me?
Jared: DUDE!!!
Jared:YOU EXCHANGED PHONE NUMBERS WITH CONNOR MURPHY???
Jared: U R FUCKING CRAZY HANSEN
Evan: Can you help me or not?
Jared: U r hella gay for that druggie aren't you??
