It was finally the day to put the plan on action.
It was a Sunday night. Jared and Evan was And already late for the ball.
Jared was going to give Evan a ride, so he was on his way to Evan's house.
He opened the front door (that was unlocked), and went upstairs.
"EVAAAAAANNN!!! We are going to be late!!", Jared yelled.
"Okay, calm down"
They went downstairs and left the house.
Jared teased "Soooo... you ready to kiss your crush today?". He laughed.
Evan flushed.
"L-Let's just go."
Jared nodded and the two entered the car.
Zoe and Connor were already at the ball, and Connor was getting a 'little' angry.
"Where's Evan? You told me he was going to be here.", Connor said angrily.
"And he will! I promise!"
Connor mumbled a "Whatever" and went search for Evan.
At this moment, Jared and Evan entered the gym.
"W-Where is Connor? You told me he was going to be here..."
"Just go search for your boyfriend, Hansen!", Jared teased.
"HE IS NOT MY BOYFRIEND!!! STOP TEASING MEEEE....", Evan yelled.
Before Evan could leave, Jared held him by the arm.
"Ah! I almost forgot. See that place over there?", he said and pointed at the place that Alana chose.
"Yeah. What about it?"
"Well, that's the perfect place for you to slow dance with your boyfriend", Jared laughed.
Evan rolled his eyes and went search for Connor.
The two boys were searching for each other nervously.
Evan started panicking, thinking about the things Jared said about Connor.
"What if Jared was lying?What if he just said those things to convince me? What if-", Evan was whispering.
He bumped into someone. It was Connor!
"Hi Evan! I'm so glad I finally found you!"
"M-Me too...", Evan practically whispered.
The two were just talking about things they liked. Evan, like always, was talking about forests and his favorite kinds of trees.
Connor didn't mind when Evan talked a lot about trees. He actually though it was very cute, and he liked to see the passion on Evan's eyes when he talked about that.
When Evan finally stopped talking (after 45 minutes :P), Connor said he was going to the bathroom, leaving Evan alone for a little.
