Melanie Reed:

Most people went home during the thanksgiving break. I didn’t. Wellm I was going to, but there was nobody there.

My mother thought it would be a grand idea to go on a weeklong family vacation, without me. She and my dad went to, well I don’t even know where they went, but they left and took the twins with them. I honestly don’t know why they treat them more like daughters than they do me but whatever.

I don’t mind being left behind. I'm actually a bit glad they did it. It gave me the chance to be with Harry, even though I’m always with Harry. I mean, I probably wouldn’t have been with him that day if they hadn’t left. My mother would have forced me to go to dinner and she wouldn’t have let Harry into the house. I mean, she literally never lets him into the house. She still thinks of Harry as some idiotic kid who is never going to be good enough for me. She doesn’t even care if he’s good enough for me though, what she cares about is if he’s good enough for our family image. My dad has been trying to see that she changes her views of Harry, but as always, it hasn’t been accomplished.

Right now, I am at my dorm. I left while Harry was having his shower. I had to come get ready for the long day we were going to have. Generally, people camp out in front of stores for the good stuff on Black Friday, but I’ve never really fancied that idea for two reasons; I like my sleep and I don’t really feel like dying just yet. People get trampled and hurt so often; that it’s just too crazy. There are still really good deals later in the day; obviously not as good as the opening hours, but still really amazing. Besides, if I really need the latest iPhone or tablet or whatever else everyone always attacks, I would rather wait for Cyber Monday. That’s when I do all of my online shopping for holidays. Hello Christmas presents.

Harry and I were going to head out to the mall soon, but first he had to find me. I made it seem like I was still in the dorm room by putting music on in the small walk in closet. He would eventually get irritated of my not answering his calling my name or for taking way to long, and he would just go straight to the door and barge right on in. Once in there, he would be met with a note from me saying, I’ve gone to get ready. By this time, I should be out and about on campus. Come and find me; and you’ll possibly get a prize! Okay well here’s the part where you say, ready or not here I come. Well bye! (:

I’m sure he’s fuming about the fact that I left without letting him know because although, he’s calmed down about the previous incident, he is still very cautious about where I’m going and things of that nature. It might have scared him to open the door and not find me in there, but he’ll be fine as soon as we find each other. At the moment there were a good amount of people on campus. Most people did go home, but others stayed at this time a lot of people are walking back from nearby stores to drop of their new belongings before continuing on to the next stores. Blending in will be easy.

I walked around campus finding groups of people to talk to. It was easy to do because all I had to do was ask about how the deals were at certain stores and they would talk to me. It was really helping me blend in, considering I had just seen Harry and I didn’t want him finding me yet. I pulled my phone and texted him as this girl was telling me about the amazing sales at Forever 21.

Melanie: (;

Harry: where are you?

Melanie: I could ask you the same thing.

Harry: I'm outside waiting for you.

Melanie: Well, I'm outside too...

Melanie: Come and find me...
