Chapter 2

Okay, so I forgot to put this in the introduction. Emily's parents died in a car accident. So basically she's living with Alx for now. Sorry guys my bad :/

Emily's Pov

"She's really lucky to be alive. If you didn't get to her in the time you did, she probably wouldn't be here right now." I hear the doctor say. "Do you know when she'll wake up?" Alx says. "She could wake up anytime now, but it's not likely she will." The doctor says.

"Alright thank you Doctor Baldwin." Alx says. "You're welcome. Call if y'all need anything." Doctor Baldwin says.

I feel someone grab my hand. "Alx honey you need to eat something." Mrs. James says. "I'm not leaving her. I want to be here when she wakes up." Alx says.

"Alx your health is also important." Mrs. James. "Right now I'm more concern about Emily. Besides I ate McDonald's three hours ago, I'm not that hungry." Alx says.

"Alright sweetheart. You must really like Emily, I don't think I've ever seen you care this much about your friends." Mrs. James says.

"That's the thing mom, I don't like Emily as a friend, I love her more than a friend. I never realized this but I fell in love with Emily and I fell for her hard. She makes my life complete, she's my rock. I wouldn't be doing what I'm doing today if it wasn't for her. Everyday she gets hate because she's friends with me, and I can't believe I didn't realize she cuts herself. I want to be that guy to protect her, to tell her she's beautiful, that she's worth living, and that I love her." Alx confesses.

I start opening my eyes getting used to the light. Alx stands up saying, "Emily. Emily can you hear me?" I nod my head. "Mom, go get the doctor guy." Alx says.

Alx smiles at me while the doctor walks in. "Welcome back Emily. You lost a lot of blood but a donor gave you some of his so your doing ok now. Once Mrs. James signs this paper you're free to go."

"Thank you doctor." I say shaking his hand.

*Skip all of that stuff*

We finally pull up to Mrs. James' house. When we get out, Alx gives me a piggy back ride upstairs. "I'm going to make some dinner!" Mrs. James yells. "Ok!!" We both yell back.

Alx sets me down on the bed, then he sits next to me. "Alx, I heard everything you told your mom at the hospital." I tell him. "Let me guess, you don't like me anymore?" Alx says standing up.

I grab Alx's hand and say, "Alx, I don't like you," His face drops. I grab his face and say to him, "I love you."

Alx smiles and kisses me. "You don't know how long I've waited to hear those words come out of your mouth." Alx says. I smile and kiss him again.

"Suppers read- Oh am I interrupting something?" Mrs. James asks smirking. I start blushing hiding my face in Alx's neck. "We'll be right down mom." Alx says.

"You're cute when you blush." Alx says. I laugh and he kisses my cheek. "By the way, you're really short." He says laughing. "Hush. I say.

*Skip supper*

"That was really good Mrs. James." I say. "Thank you sweetheart." She says. "Do you need any help?" I ask. "No, you and Alx can leave if you want." She says.

Alx literally drags me out of the kitchen and up to his room. "Emily, I've been meaning to ask you this, but when did you start cutting?"

I tear up but decide to tell him. "The first time I cut was almost a year ago when my parents died. I tried to stop which I did for a little bit. Then you became vine famous and your fans hated me. I couldn't deal with the hate so I started cutting again. I never wanted you to find out because I thought you would leave me and think I was a freak." I say crying.

"Em, I could never leave you. I love you way too much and I would never leave you while you're going through this. I'm going to have a talk with my fans and tell them to stop hating or that they'll be blocked." Alx says.

I hug Alx and say, "I'm too lazy to go to my room to get my pajamas on." "You can wear my stuff if you want." Alx says standing up. He pulls out some basketball shorts and a short sleeve shirt.

He hands them to me, so I get up and walk to the bathroom. I get dressed then walk back out to find Alx already dressed and in bed.

I walk over to Alx and he opens his arms. I lay down and his arms wrap around me. "I love you Em." Alx says. "I love you too." I say.
