Chapter 61

Emily's Pov

"Babe. Babe. Wake up." Alx says poking me. "No." I say turning over. "Please?" He asks. "Why?" I groan. "Because I can't sleep and there's nothing to do." He says putting his arm around me.

"Well find something to do." I tell him. "I want to do something with you." He says. "Like what?" I ask. "Well we could go to the beach, watch movies, draw some stuff and other things." He says.

"Is sleeping part of doing something together?" I ask. "Nope. Now get your lazy butt up." He says grabbing my hand. "I'm pregnant not lazy." I say looking at him.

"Well you're acting lazy so come on, I know something we could do." He says. "And what about Andrew?" I ask. "He's going to be with us." He tells me walking to Andrews room.

When he picks up Andrew, we walk downstairs and Alx says, "We're going to cook something." "Alx, we both know I can't cook. If I can burn Ramen Noodles then that should be a sign to you that I shouldn't be allowed to touch a stove." I say looking at him.

"You just need practice." He says feeding Andrew. "I don't need practice, I need a miracle." I tell him. He laughs at me and finishes feeding Andrew and burps him.

"I'll be your miracle then." Alx says laying Andrew in his crib. When Andrew falls asleep, Alx grabs my hand and leads me into the kitchen. "Alright, we're going to cook tacos." Alx tells me pulling out pans.

"And no you can't leave." He tells me. He pulls me over to him and turns the stove on and puts the meat in the pan. "Alright make sure to stir the meat good so it all cooks." Alx says coming up behind me and putting a spoon in my hand then grabbing it.

He helps me stir it and it starts turning brown. "Now let it sit there for a couple of minutes." He says putting the spoon down.

*Skip rest of cooking*

"These are actually good." Alx says grabbing another taco. "Yes they are." I tell him. I look over at Andrew and start making faces at him.

He starts giggling and continues to watch me. "I can't believe he's turning one in three months." Alx says bending down over my shoulder.

"I can't believe we're about to hit our one year anniversary." I tell him. "I know, we're getting old." Alx says laughing. He kisses my cheek then starts playing with Andrew.

Alx reaches down and starts fixing Andrews hair. "He's going to have hair like you." I tell him. "All the girls would be all over him then." He says laughing.

I laugh and look at the time. "It's almost 8:00." I say looking out the window at the night sky. "We should put him in bed and go to our room to watch a movie." Alx says.

"Yeh lets go." I say getting up. We get upstairs and change him then Alx sings him to sleep. We put Andrew in his crib and Alx picks me up and carries me to our room. After a couple of minutes, we decide on watching a tv show named House.
