Chapter 57

Alx's Pov

When we wake up the next morning, Emily tells me to stay in bed while she gets up to check on Andrew. I tried to tell her to let me help, but she said that she wanted me to stay here.

I look around my room and just stare at the walls considering there's nothing else to do. The door opens and Emily walks in with Andrew. She lays down on the bed and I watch her make him smile.

He starts getting tired after a while, so I tell Emily, "Let me hold him until he falls asleep." She hands him to me and when I put him on my chest, I start humming so he'll fall asleep quicker.

After a couple of minutes, Andrew falls asleep so I take him to his room just incase me and Emily start talking and we accidentally wake him up.

When I walk back in the room, Emily's laying in bed still and watching tv. I walk over to her and lay down next to her wrapping my arms around her waist.

We lay there watching some Naruto show that she likes. "We have a lot of lazy days." I say. "I like out lazy days, considering you're always out working now it's nice to spend some alone time with you." She says looking at me.

"I know I'm working a lot, but it's the only way for me to have a good career." I tell her. "I know. It just seems like we're spending less time together when we're in LA." She says looking down.

"Hey, I know it seems like that but I promise you that I will cut down on how much I work. It's according what it is I have to do." I say kissing her head.

"Okay. I'm going to see if Andrew's up or not." She says. "How about we ask mom to take her grand babies out for a couple days?" I ask.

"Are you sure she'll want to do that?" She asks me. "Of course. Dana may want to go to, then we can have the house to ourselves and we can do whatever we want then." I say winking at her.

"Alright. That sounds fun, so go ask her." She says. "Fine." I say getting up and walking out. "Mom, would you and Dana want to take the kids somewhere for the weekend and let me and Emily stay here?" I ask her.

"Yeh sure, I was going to ask you anyway." She says. "Oh okay then, well I'll be in my room if you need me." I say walking out.

"So what did she say?" Emily asks when I walk back in the room. "She said she would." I say laying back down. I pull Emily close to me and say, "You know you're the most beautiful girl in the world."

"No I'm not. You're just saying that." She says hiding her face in my neck. "Yes you are. To me you are." I say. I feel her kiss my neck, then she turns back over to watch tv. I sit there asking her questions about this show for the rest of the day.
