Chapter 47

*3 months later*

Alx's Pov

"So what do you want to do today?" I ask Emily. "I have no idea." She says looking at me. "Well we haven't had a day to ourselves in a while, so why don't we ask Alyssa to take Andrew and her niece out for the day and we can stay here." I say to her.

"That sounds like a perfect plan." She says getting up to ask Alyssa. About five minutes later she comes walking back down the steps. "She said she would be more than happy to take the kids out." She tells me.

I smile and bring Emily down onto my lap. "Hey no pda until I leave." I hear Alyssa say. "You ruined our moment." Emily says looking at her. "Well I'm sorry but I didn't want the kids to be scarred." She tells us laughing.

"Well at some point in their life they'll be doing what me and Emily are doing." I say. "Well they still have a long times before that happens. Well I'm leaving, do you guys need anything?" She says.

"Yeh, privacy." Emily says. "Haha funny. Bye guys." Alyssa says walking out the door. "Now that she's gone I can do this." I say leaning in to kiss Emily.

Right before our lips touch, she sprays me with silly string. "I know you didn't just spray that on me." I say. "I did." She says running away. I smile and run after her.

We run around the house for a while until she gets tired, so I grab the silly string from her and spray her. "Alright, Alright truce?" She says. "I don't know. Should I trust you?" I ask. "Yes you should." She says putting her arms around my neck.

She pulls me down and kisses me. "We should get this silly string off of us." I say when she pulls away. We start taking it off of us, and once we finish, I hear my phone ring.

A- Alx M- Mom

A- Hello.

M- A-Alx.

A- Mom what's wrong?

M- Y-Your father and b-brother was I-in a c-car accident.

A- Are they okay?

M- A-Alx they d-didn't make i-i-it.
