Chapter 62

Emily's Pov

"What do we need to get?" Alx asks me while walking into the store. "Food." I say. "Well that narrows it down." He says grabbing my hand. "Well Mrs. Sandy is bringing the kids back today and since you ate all the food they have nothing to eat." I say turning down an isle.

"You ate a lot of food too." He says. "Yeh but that was for the baby." I tell him. Alx starts reading the list he wrote down and says, "We need to get some stuff to make homemade pizza with." I look around and point to the top shelf. When he reaches up to get it, his phone starts going off.

"Babe could you get that for me?" He asks. I reach in his pocket and check the messages.

"Hey babe. Wanna come over tonight." It read.

When I read the message, I start crying. "Babe what's wrong?" He asks. "Who is this girl texting you?" I ask. "I-I.." He stutters. "I can't believe you Alx." I say running out of the store.

I pull my phone out and call Sara Kathryn to come get me. She pulls over to where I'm sitting at and I get in the vehicle. We get to her house and I tell her what happened.

"Are you sure Alx was cheating on you? I can tell by the way he looks at you that he's in love and he wouldn't want to hurt you in anyway. Maybe he has an explanation to why that girl was texting him." She says. "Probably but can I stay here, just until I feel like I'm ready to face Alx." I ask. "Sure stay here as long as you need." She says hugging me.

"I'm going to go lay down for a little bit." I say getting up. "Yeh that'll be a good idea especially since you went through a lot of stress today and stress is not good for the baby." She says. "No it's not. Call me if you need me." I say walking upstairs. I sit there and cry myself to sleep because I probably just lost one of the best things that has ever happened in my life.

*1 week later*

"So when are you going to talk to Alx?" Sara asks me while drinking some tea. "I have no idea. I'm just scared that he'll divorce me or something." I tell her. "He wouldn't do that, like I said before he's in love with you and he won't let you go that easy." She says.

Our conversation gets interrupted by my phone going off. I look at it to see that Mrs. Sandy is calling me so I get up and walk out of the room to answer it.

E- Emily S- Sandy

E- Hello?

S- Oh thank god you answered Emily. Listen I know things have been rough with you and Alx but I need you to come over here and talk to him. He's not eating anything and I think he's cutting himself.

E- When was the last time he ate?

S- The day you found the text messages on his phone.

E- Oh my gosh. I'll be over there right now.

I hang up before she can answer back and say to Sara, "I need you to drive me back home." "Alright let's go." She says grabbing her keys.

We pull up to Alx's house and I thank her while getting out. She wishes me luck and I run up the steps and knock on the door. Mrs. Sandy opens it and says, "He's in his room but it's locked. Luckily I just found the spare key to get inside his room so here."

She hands me the key and I walk towards his room. I stick the key in the lock and open the door to see Alx looking at the wall. I shut the door quietly and walk over to him.

When I sit on his bed, he turns to look at me and when he does I gasp. His face has extremely dark circles under them, his facial hair looks like it hasn't been shaved for a week, and he looks really fragile. "E-Emily?" He asks. "It's me Alx." I say.

"I'm sorry." He says. "I should be the one that's sorry, I'm the one causing you to do this to yourself." I say on the verge of crying. "No it's not your fault. It's mine because I gave that girl my stupid number." He says. "Why did you give it to her?" I ask.

"That night I went out with the guys, they kept pressuring me to drink so I did but it was only one and the girl who I gave my number to drugged my drink so I don't remember anything from that night but I do remember that I didn't do anything with her. Ask the guys they saw my pushing her off of me but she wouldn't leave me alone until security came and got her." He says.

"I should've listened when I found the messages." I say. "Don't blame this on yourself please." Alx begs. "Okay but I'm cleaning those cuts up and you will be eating and drinking something." I say helping him up. "Does this mean we're back together?" He asks. "Of course, I never thought of leaving you." I say. He bends down to kiss me but winds up falling on the bed so I bend down and kiss him then help him to the bathroom.
