Don't leave me.

Chapter 19

Alx's Pov

"You're what?" I say shocked. "I'm pregnant." She repeats a little slower. "A-Are you sure?" I ask.

"I'm positive." She says. I start shaking my head. This can't be happening, not now. I'm about to leave for California.

With all my thoughts, I do the first thing which is run out the door.

Emily's Pov

"I told you he didn't want a child." I tell Alyssa crying. "Maybe he was shocked. Give him a while to process the news. He may want a child." She says.

"Ok. Can we do something so I can calm down for a little bit." I ask. She nods and says, "Let's go to your room and watch movies."

We head upstairs and watch movies for about two hours.

On our third movie, we hear the front door open. A couple minutes later, there's a knock on my door. I open it to see Alx there with water dripping down him.

"I'm sorry that I ran away Emily. I was just shocked." He says. "It's ok Alx. All I need to know is do you want to help raise this child or not." I say.

"I do want to help, but what happens when I leave for California? We both know you won't fly." He says.

"Well, we can make it work Alx. You said it yourself, you're going to visit as much as you can. We can make this work if we try." I say.

"It's going to be hard, but I'm willing to try." He says. I hug him and say, "Now go change your clothes."

He laughs and walks out to change. "Alyssa, I may have to move to your house." I tell her. "Yay, I'm going to have a roommate finally!" She yells.

"When Alx leaves we're going to pack my stuff." I tell her. She nods her head and walks to my bathroom.

Alx walks in and sits next to me. "So, we're having a baby." He says. "Yup. Are you ready?" I ask. "If not. I'll be ready in 9 months. Are you?" He says.

"Yeh. I guess I am." I tell him. We sit there in silence until I say, "When you leave, I'm moving in with Alyssa."

"That's good. You'll have someone watching you." He tells me. "Yeh." I say.

"You know if I didn't have to go I wouldn't." He says. "Yeh I know. Can you just promise me one thing?" I ask.

"Yeh." He says. "No matter what happens, I want you to go to California and be successful. Live your dream." I say.

"I promise." He says hugging me. Alyssa walks out of the bathroom so we sit there and watch ridiculousness for the rest of the night.
