Chapter 34

*2 months later*

Emily's Pov

"Ugh, I want this baby out of me! I'm tired of feeling all of this pain!" I yell as loud as I can. "Babe, the due date is soon, he'll be out of there before you know it." Alx says trying to comfort me.

"Do you know what it feels like to have another person growing inside you? It sucks really bad." I say crying. "Don't cry. I wish I could help you but I really don't know what to do." He says.

Alx starts rubbing my back trying to soothe me, which it works for a little bit, until I feel a pain go through me. "Alx, I think my water broke." I tell him.

He stands up and helps me get up. Alx helps me walk to the vehicle and helps me get in.

Alx gets in on the other side and starts driving to the hospital. "C-Call Alyssa." I say trying not to think of the pain. He calls her then calls his mom.

We arrive at the hospital and the nurses take me in as soon as they see me. I'm pushed to a room and they hook me up to the machines.

The pain in my back is getting worse so the nurse asks, "Do you want epidural to ease your back pain?" "Yes please." I say. She gives it to me and after a while she says, "You're 10 centimeters, you're ready to give birth" I nod and lean my head back.

Alx walks in with that grown thingy on him and Alyssa is right beside him. "Alright Mrs. Draughan, are you ready to see your son?" The doctor asks.

*Don't think I'm writing about the birthing process. Just no.*

The nurse cleans off Andrew and hands him to me. Alx bends over to get a better look at Andrew. "He looks like you." I say to Alx.

He smiles and kisses my forehead. We tell the nurse what we want to name Andrew and she nods with a smile.

"Do you want to hold him?" I ask Alx. He nods and grabs Andrew. Alyssa walks back in with Curtis and says, "Congrats" "Hey Alyssa, I want you to be the godmother." I tell her.

"You know I want to be the godmother." She says while hugging me. She whispers in my ear, "And thanks for hooking me up with Curtis." I smile and say, "You're welcome."

When they walk out, Mrs. Sandy along with her husband walk in. They hold Andrew for a while before saying they have to go.

About an hour after they leave, Caleb and his boyfriend walk in. "Hey Em." Caleb says hugging me. "Hey Caleb. Hey Austin." I say to them.

We talk for a couple of minutes, then I let Caleb hold Andrew. "He looks just like Alx." Caleb and Austin say.

It starts getting dark, so Caleb and Austin leave while Alx puts a sleeping Andrew in the crib thingy.

He walks over to me and lays next to me. "I love you, so much." He says kissing me. "I love you too, but I'm not having another baby for awhile." I tell him.

He nods and says, "You'll change your mind soon." I hit his chest playfully and he wraps his arms around me.

"You need some sleep." Alx tells me. I nod and snuggle into his chest and fall asleep.
