Chapter 44

*Two days later*

Emily's Pov

"Emily wake up." I hear some one say causing me to wake up. "Five more minutes." I mumble burying my face into my pillow and turning over.

"Will you just get up?" Alx asks. "Leave me alone and let me sleep." I say. "I will literally drag you out of this bed." He says.

"Do it. I bet you won't." I say going under the covers. He walks out and when he walks back in, someone is with him.

Since I know what's about to happen, I grab the headboard as soon as Alx grabs my legs. Alyssa is trying to pry my hands off the headboard, but fails terribly.

Alx hands Alyssa my legs and he walks up and tickles me. I let go of the headboard and start kicking.

"Stop tickling me Alx." I say laughing. "Alright. Now get up, eat breakfast, and get dressed because we are going out today." He says.

They walk out and after a couple of minutes, I decide to get up. I walk downstairs and Alyssa says, "Well good morning sunshine."

I flick her off while sitting at the table. I lay my head on the table but someone pours ice water on me.

"What the hell?!" I yell standing up. "Oh hush you know you love me." Alyssa says. "No, no I don't love you. I was awake when I put my head on the table, you had no reason to pour water all over me. You could've just asked me to lift my head up but no you had to be immature and pour ice water on me." I say walking out.

When I get up to my room, I head towards the bathroom to take a shower.

Once I'm out of the shower, I walk out of the bathroom to see Alx sitting on the bed. "You ok?" He asks handing me some clothes. "Yeh." I say putting my clothes on.

"Mom invited all of us over for a cook out, do you want to go?" He asks. "Yeh, just let me finish getting ready." I say walking back in the bathroom.

Alx's Pov

I get up and walk out of our room. I would ask Emily whats wrong with her, but I know that when she's mad the best thing to do is to let her cool down.

To be honest I never saw Emily get that mad before, well except for one time but we won't go there. When I get downstairs, I head over to the crib to pick Andrew up.

I walk into the kitchen and get his bottle and feed him. "Is she still mad?" Alyssa asks. "Yeh, just give her the space she needs and she'll talk when she's ready." I say.

She was about to say something, but Emily walks in. "I'm ready." She says. "Alright, let me finish feeding Andrew and we'll leave." I say.

"Is his bag packed?" Emily asks. "Almost, you can finish it if you want." I say. She nods and walks over to his bag and finishes packing it.

I finish feeding Andrew and put his bottle in the sink. Alyssa offers to take Andrew out to the car, so I hand her the keys and she walks out.

Before me and Emily walk out I ask, "Are you mad about this morning?" "Kinda. I just think it's time for her to leave because what happened this morning may happen again over something really stupid and I don't want to ruin our friendship." She says.

I wrap my arms around her and say, "Why don't you talk to her and see why she's still here. Maybe you'll find out something or maybe you won't. I don't like seeing you upset or mad so talking to her maybe the best thing you could do."

I feel her nod and she pulls away. "We should go now." She says grabbing the bag. We walk out and get in the car.

Once we pull out of the drive way, I realize that this is going to be an awkward car ride because of the awkward silence inside the car.
