Chapter 40

*1 month later*

Emily's Pov

"Hey I'm heading to McDonald's to get some food, you want to go?" Alx asks me. "No I'll just stay here." I say.

"How about you take a nap or relax for a little but and I'll take Andrew with me." Alx says. "You sure?" I ask Alx. "Positive." He says.

Alx walks over and grabs Andrew from me. "I love you." Alx says kissing me. "I love you too." I say.

About five minutes after they leave, someone knocks on my door. When I answer it, Curtis is standing there.

"What do you want Curtis?" I ask. "I need to talk to Alyssa." He says. "Shes in the shower." I tell him.

"Well can I come in and wait?" He asks. "Well, after what you said to me on the phone, no you can't." I say closing the door.

He stops the door with his foot and says, "I'm trying to be nice to you. So let me in or you'll regret it." "Curtis seriously, you need to leave. Alyssa moved on from you." I say.

Curtis pushes the door open and grabs both of my wrists. "You're going regret not letting me in." He says.

Curtis pushes me against the wall and starts touching me everywhere. "Curtis stop." I say trying to push him off.

He doesn't listen and starts moving to my area. I push him off but he gets mad and slaps me.

Curtis pushes me on the ground and starts unbuckling his belt. I hear Alyssa walking down the stairs and she yells out, "Curtis! Stop!"

I don't think he heard her because he doesn't stop. She throws something at his head but he gets up and pushes her really hard against the wall and kicks her in the ribs.

Curtis comes back over to me and tries to kiss me. I spit in his face and he starts hitting me.

Someone pulls Curtis off of me and starts punching him. My vision comes back clear enough for me to see Alx on top of Curtis.

I black out for a little bit but come back to see Curtis is bleeding everywhere and Alx still punching him.

I get up and try to get Alx off of him. For some reason, when Alx feels my hands on him, he stops hitting Curtis. Which is a good thing.

"Are you ok?" Alx asks standing up. "Yeh." I say. He hugs me and asks, "Did he touch you inappropriately?"

"Yeh, but I think you've hurt him enough." I say. We hear Curtis trying to get up, so Alx walks over and basically throws him out.

"Can we eat? I'm kind of hungry." I say when I calm down. "Yeh, here." Alx says handing me some food.
