Chapter 54

So I literally forgot that Alx and Emily adopted a dog together. Whoops. So yeah they adopted an Alaskan Klee Kai named Loki.

Emily's Pov

I wake up the next morning with Loki laying across me and Alx's arm is draped over my chest. 'Well that's a great way to wake up.' I say to myself.

I somehow manage to get out and hen I do, Alx grabs my waist and pulls me back down. "Where are you going?" He mumbles. "To feed Andrew and go downstairs." I say putting some clothes on.

"Feed him and come back in here with him and we'll all sleep together. You need to sleep more anyway." He says. "Alright give me fifteen minutes." I say. "Ok." He mumbles.

I walk into Andrew's bedroom and pick him up then walk downstairs. I put him in the crib thing and make his bottle. While making his bottle, I get a text from Alyssa.

A- Alyssa E- Emily

A- I'm freaking out, when I woke up this morning there was a note on my night stand and it was from Curtis saying he's coming to get me. I don't know what to do.

E- Let me talk to Alx and see if we can get you out here, but for now ask Sarah Kathryn if you can stay with her since Curtis doesn't know where she lives. Also explain to her why you need to stay with her. I'll call her later.

A- Alright she said I could stay with her, but to keep my phone at the apartment just incase Curtis bugged it.

E- Alright leave it at the apartment and make sure both locks are locked and head over to her house. I'll text her later on.

A- Alright. Talk to you later.

I put my phone down and finish making the bottle. When Andrew drinks it all, I burp him and head upstairs to the bedroom. Alx is knocked out, so I get on my side of the bed and play with Andrew for a little bit.

Alx wraps his arms around me and pulls me close. Andrew starts teething on my finger, so I put his pacifier in his mouth. He starts falling asleep so I put him next to me and I make sure he can't fall off, then I hear Alx say, "You're suppose to be sleeping baby girl."

"I know but I'm trying to make sure Andrew don't fall off." I say. Alx reaches over me and picks him up and puts him on his chest then pulls me close to him.

"There now you can sleep." He says closing his eyes. I try to fall asleep but I can't get comfortable. Once I get comfortable, I hear Alx's heartbeat and for some reason it relaxes me and I start falling asleep.

*Three hours later*

I wake up to see Andrews head on Alx's shoulder and I'm still on his chest. Alx looks down at me and kisses my head. "We need to find a place for Alyssa. Curtis is apparently on his way to North Carolina and he's going to come get her." I say.

"I have a friend that needs help with rent and she could really use a roommate. It's in this building actually. I'll have a talk with one her see if they'll share with Alyssa." He says. I nod my head and start dozing off again.

"Is this what we're going to do all day?" Alx asks. "Yup, the only time we're getting up is to feed Andrew and the dog and to go to the bathroom." I say. "Sounds good to me." Alx says.
