I know something will happen today. This will be our official 10th dates. Nag-ayos ako at handa na para harapin siya.

Bumaba ako ng parking lot at nakita ko agad siya roon na nakangiti sa aking direksyon habang nag-aantay.

He was wearing a black outfit from head to toe. He is too charming this day that I can't bear it to fall in love with him. His good looks makes everywoman in this world fall for him. I never imagine to see him in the aisle of the church waiting for me patiently but now I did. But I know his smile will be faded away after he will hear my answer today, that makes me feel worried.

Until I reached him. "How are you today?" He smiled ears to ears.

I simply smiled. "Good." He gently open the car door for me.

Tahimik kaming dalawa sa buong byahe hanggang sa makarating kami sa isang kilalang restaurant. Inalalayan niya ako sa pagbaba. Nang pumasok kami sa loob ay bumungad agad sa amin ang mga staff at binigay sa amin ang magandang pwesto ng upuan roon at tanging kami lang ang naroon.

He love to see me in his full of suprises but to see him in this situation I know how I am very sorry for him.

Ibinigay na namin ang ilang order at mabilis naman agad itong naihanda. Nag-usap kami about sa mga nakaraan simula nang magkakilala kami sa Ilocos hanggang matapos na kaming kumain until I notice him that he was too nervous this night.

"Are you okay?" I look at him in a worried face.

"Yeah, just too nervous." Ikinumpas niya ang kanyang kamay at ilang sandali lang ay narinig na namin ang nagpiapiano ng 'A Thousand Years'.

I look at him awkwardly. He offer his hand like he did back when we are in Ilocos. I took his hand and hold it tightly. I round my hand to his neck and closer to him to avoid eye contact. He put his hands to my waist tightly until we sway into dance and I close my eyes to remember this memorable night with him.

We are full of silent, no words can't let out to each of us. I listen to his heart that full of speed on pounding.

Until we reached the chorus of the song. I heard him saying...

"You know when I first saw you, I realized that God is very nice to me." I smiled while trying to stop my tears fell out.

"And I'm really greatful to see you everyday of my life and very thankful to God to give me a chance to offer my love to you." I silently listening but I realized he was loosing on holding my waist.

"I love you from the very start but I need to stay away from you yet my heart telling me to get back to you. I know what is your answer from the very start, I just want to make you happy and I know you will be happy even though I'm not in your side." I can't help but all of my tears felt out. I tightened holding him but I realized this is for the good of all of us.

"I'm sorry, I'm really sorry!" I cried out loud. He watched me crying and hold my face, he kiss me on my forehead and smile to me like he did before. He wipe my tears away using his thumbs.

"Just be fine and do everything you will make you happy. Just call me if you need me." I hug him to end this night.

He offer me to drive me to my house but I decline his offer.

Nang makarating ako sa bahay ay bumungad sa akin si Mama. Hindi ko napigilan ang yakapin siya at umiyak sa kanya. Never kong nagawa noon ang ganito sa kanya. Gusto kong sabihin lahat lahat sa kanya pero hindi ko alam kung saan mag-uumpisa.

Pinatahan niya ako gaya nang pagpapatahan sa akin noon ni Papa nung bata ako. Hindi ako ganun kaclose kay Mama dahil Papa's girl ako noon pero ngayon alam kong siya lang ang pwedeng sabihan ko nang sama ng loob ko. Marami nang nagbago mula sa aking pagkabata sa ngayon, umiiyak ako noon dahil sa may umaway sa akin pero ngayon ang iniiyakan ko ay ang aking sarili.
