Chapter 51:

Husnaa P.O.V:

After irfaan's confession, I didn't know how I should react, I mean I understand his point of view and that he has changed for the better...Even though it was wrong going out with Tasneem, I think that breaking up Moe and Tasneem was a good thing because that girl was nothing but a burden on Moe and she didn't deserve him , but how do we go on normally from here, do I continue like I never know that stuff and if not how should I...Let's face facts, he was honest and I can't fault him, but still how should I act, I am so damn confused!

Normally I would ask Moe what to do, he has always been there for me, never left my side even when it was just a stupid problem like a pimple, he always knew how to handle me and give damn good advice.

And it was heartbreaking seeing him so broken up about Tasneem. I felt she didn't deserve him, always mistreated him. And it took him a while to get back to himself. He really is a best friend, my best friend. One of the few lucky ones who are genuine.

And now I got to hear his side of what Irfaan said, not to varify because I believe Irfaan but just so that I have an understanding from Moe's view, he deserves to be heard too, even if it would open old wounds...which sadly can't be avoided, because I have to know..

So I arrived at his house, all prepared to face him and get him to come around to being civil with Irfaan... But what faced me when I entered made me rethink asking...

Zeenat P.O.V:

As the days grew closer to my engagement, I was getting nervous. I wanted everything to be perfect, needless to say I was tripping on some toes so I decided it was time for a spa weekend with my bestie

Me: Hey babe I think I need to get away from all this maddness, Let's go out for the weekend, durban spa?

Zubaida: sounds awesome, let me book, a preengagement treat, and there's so much I got to tell you!

Me: I can't wait, aw thanks I really need this...

Zubaida: hey what's wrong?

Me:( teary eyes) I uhm I am so not..I don't know I am so confused...everything just..

Zubaida: okay calm down, take slow breaths, we'll talk more later, I will pick you up @ 5, be ready I love you sweets

Me: okay love you too

I can't believe I am in such a mess, thank goodness for Zubaida, I don't know what I would do without her. So after cutting I decided to pack my bag for the spa weekend.

I quickly told my parents where I am headed and waited patiently for Zubaida to come, while my mind was a tangled mess of nerves

Zuhayr P.O.V:

I decided to check up on my best friend, Shuaib. He's engagement is coming up soon and I wanted to know if there's anything I could help with.

Me: hey

Shuaib: Zuhayr! Just the man I'm looking for (big smile)

Me: whatsup?

Shuaib: I got some boxes to pick for mom, but there's some important papers of dad I promised I would deliver, so you can deliver the papers while I pick up the boxes

Me: sure where must I take them?

Shuaib: the adress and directions are with them, It's the big black envelope on the coffee table

After retrieveing the parcel, I went to drop it off. It was a local lawyers office, it look pretty rural. After asking the receptionist I had a parcel, she sent me through to what look like the main office

Entering, I found Shuaib's dad and few other people. Ofcouse I apologised for distrupting and said I had the parcel.

One of the chairman came over and took the parcel, so I quickly left. This place felt weird and that meeting looked suspious.

Shuaib father: Zuhayr! Wait!

Me: Slmz uhm sorry about disturbing, I didn't know there's a meeting, Shuaib couldn't get around to delivering so I offered to help

Shuaib Father: Calm down boy, no harm done, (laughing) I think my boy might be exploiting you, ever since he got proposed, nothing but Zeenat seem to be stuck in his head, anyways thanks and I would appreciate you kept quite about the meeting, it's a deal I'm closing and don't want to worry the family

Me: sure no problem

We chitchated for little bit but he had to go back, so I left and headed back to Shuaib's place.

Hmm Zeenat's getting the jitters and spa weekenD here they come

Wonder what deal...hope nothing sinister? Hmmm

and what could possibly stop Husnaa from asking Moe the truth?
