"Alright, I'm not saying I trust the two of you, but there must be something you could do." Jackie said over the phone. The United Nations was meeting, and would call any minute with their answer.
"If we could ferment the port we could make Acetic acid."
"Mickey, any luck?"
"There's loads of emergency numbers, they're all on voicemail." The Doctor and I leaned against the window, our arms crossed, both of our minds going into hyper drive.
"Voicemail dooms us all."
"If we could just get out of here!" Rose exclaimed.
"There's a way out." The Doctor told her.
"What?" I looked at him.
"There's always been a way out," I said, turning back to Rose.
"Then why can't we use it?" Rose asked. The Doctor walked over to the phone on the table.
"Because we can't guarantee that your daughter will be safe."
"Don't you dare! Whatever it is, don't you dare!" I walked over, joining him.
"If we don't dare, everyone dies. The whole planet." I added.
"Do it." Rose said, unwavering.
"You don't even know what it is, you'd just let us?"
"Yeah."
"Please Doctor, please! She's my daughter, she's just a kid."
"Yes, and millions of other kids, far younger than her, will die if we don't do this. We don't have a choice, Jackie." I told her.
"Do you think we don't know that? Because this is our life Jackie, it's not fun, it's not smart, it's just standing up and making a decision because nobody else will."
"Then what are you waiting for?" Rose asked. I looked up at her.
"We could save the world..." I trailed off.
"But lose you."
"Except it's not your decision. Neither of you." Harriet Jones told us. "It's mine."
"And who the heck are you?!" Jackie asked.
"Harriet Jones, MP for Flydale North. The only elected representative in this room, chosen by the people for the people, and on behalf of the people I command you. Do it."

"How do we get out?" Rose asked, sitting on the table as I grabbed the emergency protocol case.
"We don't. We stay here." I opened it, pulling out a folder.
"Use the Buffalo password, it should override everything." I instructed Mickey.
"What are you doing?"
"Hacking into the Royal Navy. We're in. Here it is, uh, HMS Taurine, Trafalgar Class submarine, ten miles off the coast of Plymouth."
"Right. We need to select a missile." The Doctor told him.
"We can't go nuclear. We don't have the defense codes."
"We don't need nuclear. Just an ordinary Missile. What is the first category?" I asked.
"Sub harpoon, UGM-84A."
"That's the one, select. You ready for this?"
"Yeah."
"Mickey the idiot, the world is in your hands." The Doctor told him.
