"Oh, this ship is impossible! It's superb! How'd you get the outside around the inside?"
I sat in the jump seat, holding a bag of ice to my ankle while Margaret interrogated the Doctor about the TARDIS.
"Like I'd give you the secret, yeah."
"I almost feel better about being defeated. I never stood a chance. This is the technology of the gods."
"Flattery isn't going to save your life." I pointed out. She shot me a look, "Accidentally" running into my ankle, causing me to groan.
"Don't touch her!" The Doctor exclaimed. "Get away from her, over there." She alked around to his side and he looked at me.
Are you alright? He thought.
Yeah...Yeah, I'm fine.
"Jack? How we doin', big fella?"
"This extrapolator's top of the range. Where did you get it?"
"Oh, I don't know. Some airlock safe?"
"Must've been a great big heist. It's stacked with power."
"But we can use it for fuel?" The Doctor questioned.
"It's not compatible. But it should knock off about twelve hours. We'll be ready to go by morning."
"Then we're stuck here, overnight."
"I'm in no hurry." Margaret stated.
"We've got a prisoner," Rose pointed out, "The police box is really a police box."
"You're not just police, though. Since you're taking me to my death, that makes you my executioners. Each and every one of you."
"Yes, and you were very nearly ours, so I don't have to many qualms about that." I shot back at her.
"You're very quick to say so. And you're very quick to soak your hands in my blood."
"What aren't you getting about, 'you did this first' and were prepared to kill a lot of people again? Are we supposed to feel guilty about that?" I questioned.
"Which makes you better than me how, exactly?" I stopped, closing my mouth. She had a point. "Long night ahead." I made eye contact with the Doctor.
She's not right, is she? I asked.
Of course not. Don't worry about her, focus on your ankle.
She sat down in the Jump seat beside me, and I got up, limping over to the Doctor.
"Let's see who can look me in the eye."

We all moved around after a while, Margaret sitting below the console deck, and myself returned to the jump seat.
"I gather it's not always like this, having to wait," Margaret said, "I bet you're always the first to leave, Doctor. Never mind the consequences, off you go. You butchered my family and then ran for the stars, am I right? But not this time. At last you have consequences. How does it feel?"
"Ignore her, she wants you to answer." I told him.
"I'd bet not even you are safe, Katherine. IF the situation arose, he would leave you behind just like everyone else." I bit my lip.
"I didn't butcher them." The Doctor said.
"Doctor-" I started.
"I didn't! And what about you, you had an emergency teleport. You didn't zap them to safety, did you?"
