"Flamepaw, right?" She asked, actually seeming interested.
I nodded, eyeing her closely.
She waited, I guess for a response, but when I didn't answer, she just sighed and sat beside me as the meeting began.
"SILENCE!" Yowled a strong voice.
Everyone flinched at the loud boom of voice that surrounded the clearing. I looked up to see a yellowish cat with slitted blue eyes glaring defiantly at the cats below.
That must be Lightningstar. I thought to myself.
Smokeytail sighed.
"That leader of mine. He always feels like he controls the entire forest. But, he only controls a majority of the Clan. He is hated by most of the elders and is not trusted by our medicine cat. He supposedly killed his own mother and father, but I don't believe that. He always talks about how he wants to be just like his father some day." She meowed.
"Well, was his father a murderous traitor?" I sassed.
She flinched at my hostility, but nodded with understanding.
"You think I killed your mother." She meowed half to herself.
"Um, I know you killed my mother." I hissed.
Smokeytail shook her head.
"No, it wasn't me. I, was framed." She meowed solemnly.
