I ushered everyone into the car and hopped in the drivers seat, I turned on my radio. "Oops that's cd's." I said, starting to mess around with it when Riker took my hand away. "Let's see what cd's you have!" He said, flicking through them and hearing an all to familiar song.
"Drop top sittin next to Ce low. Pacific coast highway, this happens every day." Everyone began to sing along to their own voices and I just shook my head at them. Riker poked my side. "Oh come on! You're gonna be in a musical, I just know it! So you need to warm up your voice!" Riker said happily, everyone was backing him up on this. "Fine! I'll sing the next song." I said, giving in.
Just then the song ended and one of my favorite R5 songs came on, one last dance. I cleared my throat and started to sing with the song.
"Tear drops in your hazel eyes
I can't believe I made you cry
It feels so long since we went wrong
But you're still on my mind." I sang, Riker began to sing with me.
"Never meant to break your heart
Sometimes things just fall apart
So heres one night to make it right
Before we say goodbye." Our voices laced together perfectly.
"So wait up, wait up
Give me one more chance
To make up, make up
I just need one last dance
Freshman year I saw your face
Now its graduation day
Said we'd be friends, till the end
Can we start again?" I pulled into the parking lot and turned off the car. When I turned around to get my purse from the back I saw all the guys were watery eyed. "Oh guys, I know that's a sad song but it's not enough to make someone cry." I said, trying not to laugh as Ross wiped a few tears away.
"Oh whatever." Was all he could say as they got out. And what a surprise they had when they gazed upon what we'd be doing.
"You've got to be kidding me." Ross said, a touch of fear in his voice.
