Chapter 54

The day after the interview Rocky thought it would be a good idea to take me sight seeing to take our minds off things. It sounded reasonable so we all agreed and left for the Hollywood walk of fame, I walked happily over all the stars stars, looking for my favorites and taking pictures with. After that we went to universal studios and rode every single ride. Yes, including tower of terror! The guys peer pressured me into it and it was terrifying! But I guess it was fun after I saw the picture, it looked like I was laughing and the boys were crying. Naturally we bought the picture.

The next stop on our tour of LA was the Hollywood sign. We did he long drive up to the viewing point and began to take pictures. Rydel and I did her pose in front of it, then a group pic we had a stranger do. Then Riker and I, of course after that all the guys wanted a picture with me too so I took one with Ross, Rocky, Ratliff and Ryland all smooshing me in the middle. We filed back into the car and headed to the boardwalk which we saved for last so I could get pictures of the sunset. Rydel and I giggled in the back at all the goofy pictures. Deciding which ones were good, bad quality or just so horrible they were perfect. Like one of Ross sneezing mid picture, that was a keeper.

Riker parked and we all hopped out, locking the car. We bounced from shop to shop, Rydel and I tried on gody sunglasses and over sized hats while taking silly selfies while the guys went over to a monster mask booth. Why they had that at the beach I will never understand.i bought some pink sunglasses and a cute bikini and bikini wrap. Rydel and I hooked arms and skipped sillily over to where the guys were trying to decide which mask was the scariest. Ratliff put on a werewolf mask and growled before asking if it was scary, non of us thought so. Ell took off the mask and I fake cringed. "Oh buy that one! It's terrifying!" I giggled, Ratliff pouted so I gave him a squeeze and to make him feel better.

"Okay, now to the beach before the sunset for some football!" Rocky suggested, he had just bought one from a stand we passed, we didn't even stop so I'm curious to how he bought that so quickly. We wondered down to the beach and put our bags down in the sand before spreading out. "Okay, Ratliff, Rydel, Emily and Ryland. You'll need the extra number with two girls on your team." Ross fake taunted, a flicker of fear in his eyes for a moment. I smirked as I awaited them to start.

Rocky yelled hike and hiked it to Ross before stepping back to see where he'd be needed next. Riker charged me with a grin on his face. I quickly side stepped, making Riker fall face first into the sand as I charged after Ross. Ross turned to block my grab at the ball but I swiveled and snatched it from him before running to their end zone and spiking it in the sand. "Wooo! Who's the man!" I shouted, the guys laughed at my remark. "Well I know one thing..." I smirked at them. "It's not you guys!" I laughed before doing a little dance.

Suddenly a blinding light was in my eyes and I realized the sun was setting. Quickly I ran and grabbed my phone. I was too close and too low to get a good picture, suddenly Riker dove beneath me and I was on his shoulders. I had the perfect picture and so did Rydel who was taking a picture of our silloette in the sunset, I know since she showed me after Riker put me down. I smiled and we got our stuff to head back to the car. Halfway their I noticed my shoe was untied so I paused to tie it. Riker and everyone else went on to the car since we weren't that far.

All of a sudden I felt crunches across my back, sides and head. A gooy substance oozed down my body as everyone shouted at someone. I sat up and realized that I'd been completely egged from head to toe. Shell bits stuck in my hair as yoke slide down my neck and back. Yup...so much for me thinking this would blow over. My guess is that this problem won't be going Over Easy.
