Chapter 16

The rest of the day was quite boring, we could go do anything since the guys were still recovering from the horses. So, I broke out my endless collection of movies, starting with Harry potter.

After watching all of the movies (and trying not to complain about the Inaccuracy when compared to the books) we watched a few disney films. Around noon it started to get really hot. "Is there a water park somewhere?" Ross asked as he lay with his head off the couch and feet over the back, fanning himself. "Yeah there is but it's a bit of a drive." I said, it was probably 100 degrees out so it didn't take long for everyone to change into swim suits.

I went up to my room and dug into my swimsuit drawer. Of course I only had a bikini that was a size too small, it's better than nothing though. I put it on before throwing on jean shorts and a tanktop. I ran downstairs and we all hopped into the car and began the drive.

After 30 minutes of blazing down the driveway, all the windows down and radio blasting, we FINALY pulled into the crammed parking lot of the water park. "Finally!" Ross groaned, if it wasn't so hot out he would have thrown himself onto the pavement. "Race ya!" Riker yelled as he took off from the car and towards the ticket booth.

We paid for our tickets and lockers before heading in. The park was huge, it had two large pools each 13 feet deep, a wave pool, five different slides, one of those shoot things that rocket you downwards, a zip line and two diving boards, it also had 200 lounge chairs around the pools.

We put our stuff (except towels and Rydel and my coverups) in our lockers. Rydel picked chairs near the slides and deep end. Everyone ran over to them so by the time I got there the only one left was between Rocky and Riker. I sat down with my sunglasses on and sun bathed, trying to relax after the long drive.

"What are you doing?" Riker asked, I turned to him as he took off his shirt. Do you know how much self control it takes to not drool at the sight of the guys all taking off their shirts? A lot, a LOT of self control is needed. "I'm um... Sun bathing. Why?" I asked, finding my voice again. "Well I figured you want to swim, I mean we ARE at a water park. Come on, we can go down the slide together unless you're... scared." He said with a smirk, I stood up and began to walk towards the slide.

"Are you forgetting something?" Riker laughed. "Unless you plan to go down the slide in your cover." I remembered I was still wearing it and blushed. "Oh.. Yeah." I said, walking back over to my chair. "Just DONT laugh." I warned, I took off my cover and all the guys stared at me, jaws dropped.

"What?" I asked, getting a bit self conscious at their laser focused gazes. "Y-you're HOT." Ross stuttered out. I blushed and looked away, the guys seemed to realize this was a sign of my discomfort since they stopped looking too.

"Okay so um slides?" Riker asked, trying to get us past the awkwardness. "Yeah, slides." I said, heading win him off towards the slide closest to us. It was a curling slide about two stories high and had a bowl like thing where you circle and circle the edge before plunging down the tube in the center.

We climbed the stairs and it was finally my turn to go on the slide. I backed up a bit until I ran into Riker. "Are you scared?" Riker chuckled, I looked up at him and he saw that I was, he quite laughing. "Come on, we can go down together." He said, smiling down at me. Riker sat in the inner tube and I sat on his lap. Awkward as it was Riker is extremely comfortable to sit on.

Riker wrapped his arms around my waist, I pushed on the sides of the slide and we set off. Water splashed all around us as we rocketed down the slide, even through the sharp twists and turns Riker's grip never loosened making me feel safe. Then came the rushing sound of the bowl part, I placed my hands over Riker's and squeezed, he held my hands as we approached the bowl. Around and around we went and then we plunged into the tube, after that the rest of the ride was fun.

When we got to the bottom it dropped us out into a pool, making Riker and I flip out of the inner tube. I made sure I still had my top on before heading to the surface, is that needed you ask? Iff you saw the size of this swim suit you'd think it was needed too. I surfaced an inch from Riker, literally too, our noses were an inch apart as we both came up for air. I blushed and patted away but before I could something shocking happened.
