Eight A.M.
Dead silence – and then, the slightest of noises: the silence of the morning was interrupted by the sounds of cutleries and someone chewing their food. Freddie opened his eyes unwillingly as the sunlight peeked through, he had to squint a few times before his vision became clearer. The first thing Freddie saw was a figure of a girl leaning over a plate with scrambled eggs that towered over mountains of breakfast potatoes, buttered toast, and slices of fresh fruits; enough carbs to power a touring bus. Freddie watched the girl attacked her towering breakfast meal as he tried to figure out who she was.
Freddie then shifted his gaze from the girl and the scrambled eggs back to himself and it was then that he realized he was butt naked while lying on the couch with only a throe pillow covering his private's. He started to smack his lips nervously, trying to decipher the gravity of the situation, he vaguely remembered what happened the night before, how he and Alice was all over each other after their Kebab date. Yet now there he was naked in the same room with a stranger.
The girl is Isabelle, she had pastel pink hair, with an oversized The Who band shirt and a pair of striped boxers. She intuitively glanced towards Freddie and when she realized he was awake, promptly put down her spoon and turned to face him.
"Oh, you don't remember my name do you?" she asked pushing a strand of her hair to the back of her ear.
Freddie shifted his gaze to examine the entire room quickly not really knowing how to answer that question. Yes the room was familiar, 30+ copies of Pride and Prejudice, check. The teapot and teacups on the table from the night before, check. Alice, no where in sight. Unfamiliar girl eating breakfast, double check!
"Its ok," she said cheerfully getting out of the chair. "Its Isabelle, and you look like you could use a cup of coffee."
"Yes, coffee sounds good." Freddie replied awkwardly as he got himself up in a seating position slowly making sure the pillow was strategically placed between his legs. His eyes scanned the whole living room and around the couch to find his pants, or any of his clothes for that matter. Isabelle poured him his coffee into a mug.
"Would you happen to know where are my pants?" Freddie hesitantly asked Isabelle feeling very much vulnerable.
"I don't know they could be anywhere really. Here's your coffee," she said grinning from ear to ear. Isabelle could not help but to take in the sight of Freddie Mercury as she passed the mug to him. Isabelle had seen the band perform at Top of The Pops recently and Freddie is much more gorgeous in the flesh, his Persian features were more evident.
"Thank you," Freddie accepted the coffee. He sipped it carefully hoping that with one sip, he could trace his steps back from the night before. Was Alice even real, or did he imagine her the whole time. And who is this girl?
His mind wandered to the worst possible scenario, that he got high and imagined the whole Alice scenario and in actuality went to bed with this girl instead. Freddie looked up to her and asked, "Did you have a good time last night?"
"I mean--- It was all right," Isabelle replied not impressed. "Nothing special." She then walked back to her chair continuing to eat her breakfast.
Freddie bit his lip, he didn't know how he got into this position. Alice felt real. All he could think of at the moment was damage control. "Listen, I want you to know that I... I respect you," he blurted out.
"Thank you," Isabelle replied with a mouthful of potatoes. She was trying her best not to burst out laughing at poor Freddie.
"You see normally I would remember the name of someone that I've..." Freddie paused trying to find the right word.
"What? Oh my! Did you think we had sex? No no no, we didn't have sex last night..." Isabelle blurted out chuckling. Freddie forced a smile but he was confused.
"Stop teasing him Isa," a familiar voice was heard from the corridor. Freddie immediately looked to find Alice walking towards him with a cup of coffee clothed in a white satin bathrobe and her hair in her trademark-tousled bun.
Freddie sighed in relief gaining back his sanity, "Alice!"
"Heyya," she put down her mug on the table and crawled herself towards a naked Freddie. She swiftly pushed away the pillow covering Freddie's manhood and sat on his lap, their face inches from each other.
"Not funny Alice," Freddie wrapped his arms around her body, fuming yet relieved. "I thought I was crazy for a minute there." Alice snickered rubbing their nose together teasingly.
"Yeah we shagged. I mean, I didn't know that my body could handle that much pain!" Alice moaned dramatically to amuse her housemate, Isabelle, behind her. She laughed and then wrapped her arms around his neck pulling him in for a kiss. "And that I would like it."
It was at this point Isabelle could not ignore the intimacy she was witnessing, "Alrighty then... I'll just finish my breakfast in my room, nice to meet you Freddie." She waved at Freddie without a glance.
Freddie leaned to his side smiling apologetically to Isabelle. His jawline inches away from her, Alice could not resist but to peck it before turning behind to her roommate. "Thanks love, you're the best!"
"And we're getting a new couch Ally, I'm not seating on that anymore!" Isabelle shouted as her bedroom door slammed shut.
Freddie turned his attention to a playful Alice, understanding now that the girl was actually her housemate. "Ah thank you. Yeah, that's funny. Really. I mean lets make fun of the confused naked guy," he responded looking down to Alice, her right bosom peaking through her now loose bathrobe.
Alice started to burst out laughing, she felt guilty seeing him naked like that. "But yeah, I do have your pants. It's in my room."
"Yes, that would be lovely. I would like my pants back please," Freddie replied sarcastically. Taking the sight of Alice, he wondered how they started in the bedroom and ended up in the living room couch.
