Brian May stomped his way up the stairs, leaving the recording studio to slip into the sunlight outside the building. He breathed in his first deep breath of pure oxygen after spending almost 4 hours with the smell of cigarettes, beer and Freddie's champagne, along with Roger's mouth chomping on the bread sticks like a horse. Brian knew he had to step aside to calm himself. The last straw for him was when John insisted that in his Back Chat song there shall be no guitar solos. Making the album Hot Space had caused more friction than each of the members expected. Being away from his family did not help either, it made him feel guilty for not being around his children as much.
Freddie was lucky that his heavily pregnant fiance was willing to come all the way to Musicland Studio in Munich to accompany him in the studio. She would come and hang out in the lounge, reading Pride and Prejudice while sipping her avocado juice, solving a crossword or a sudoku while humming lullabies, creating a ritual. On the way out Brian walked past her muttering to himself, she was at the dining table solving a crossword, her hair pulled up on a messy bun, wearing an oversized grey top and black stretchable pants. Hearing the commotion from inside the control room Alice walked in to find out what had happened and Roger was quick to fill her in with the details.
"You guys need to figure out how to patch things up with Brian," Alice insisted, walking back and forth in the control room.
"It's a funk genre song Alice, not rock & roll." John moaned his eyes and fingers never leaving the neck of his bass. He was perched up by the couch with his bass on the lap, he later added, "And Brian was more upset that Freddie called him a boring astronomer." Alice glanced to Freddie disappointed, he merely wriggled his eyebrows up and down with a smug showing no remorse of his actions.
"Well then we have to pretend that Brian is not boring," Alice claimed optimistically. "I mean I got good at it while dating him." She pointed to Freddie, he was holding Alice's compact mirror admiring his newly-groomed mustache.
"Pardon, you mean me---?" Freddie closed the mirror confused.
"Okay everyone listen," Alice clapped her hands ensuring everyone was paying attention to her. "All we need to do is smile and nod and agree with whatever Brian said last." She made eye contact with each Queen members including the producer Mack.
"Hey, wait a minute!" Freddie replied aghast at a recent memory that came to mind.

Last Weekend:
The couple were snuggling by the couch on a weekend, catching up on the Golden Girls show. The commercial ran and while snuggling her, a thought came over him.
"Darling, I'm still not sure what is the second-best yellow that complements my skin tone. Canary perhaps?" he mumbled the words through her hair. Alice merely nodded, her hand on top of his, placed at her belly. She was intrigued as to how a man could be obsessed with the many variations of the color yellow.
