I barged through the door spotting my target immediately. "Emera!" I called out as she was about to enter the kitchen.

"Please do not yell in here." Snotty waitress tried telling me off.

"Shut up." I dismissed her and walked around the counter to stand in front of a flabbergasted Emera.

"Are you ok? What's got you all riled up?" She asked innocently.

"I know about Addison." She paled and looked around her. "I want an explanation now." I demanded. She looked at me and then to snotty waitress, telling her she'll be back in a second. I followed her out of the building, down the street to a nice little park. The same park Xavier took me to.

We walked over to a table and sat across from each other. She looked like she was trying to figure out the right words to say, but I wasn't in the mood for waiting.

"I want the full story, no lies. I already know about your affair with Justin." I told her. She closed her eyes for a second and let out a sigh.

"It was a couple of weeks after Justin and I broke up when I found out I was pregnant. I was only nineteen years old. I freak out completely on what I should do with it. So, I kept it a secret for a couple of months before telling him. He was as scared as me but at the same time, he was so happy." She smiled thinking back to the moment, but it quickly vanished. "I told my parents a couple of weeks later and they weren't impressed. They gave me options; if I can't raise this baby with mine and Justin's money then I'll have to put it up for adoption. I never wanted to. Justin went away to work extra time to try and raise a lot of money, but I felt useless. Imagine that your ex boyfriend has to raise thousands of dollars by himself whilst you are forced to do nothing but carry his baby." I winced at the thought. That did sound terrible.

"Months passed and it was finally time for me to give birth. But I knew I couldn't raise it, I wasn't fit enough. I don't know how to raise a child! My parents had forced me to move out into some crappy one room apartment that was smaller than a closet. I couldn't even look at her when she was put in my arms. She was crying but I couldn't do anything about it, because I wasn't ready to." She went silent again as small tears rolled down her cheeks. "I told Justin I couldn't do it and he told me he knew I was going to say that. But he wasn't about to give his baby girl to a couple of strangers. So he took her and raised her to the girl she is today. We kept in touch for a bit but it never lasted. A year after I had Addison, I heard he had met a girl and was going to marry her; so I decided to leave. I couldn't make myself watch him raise our child with some other woman, even though I was being selfish.

I left for seventeen years before deciding to return. I got a job at Three Little Bears and started to make this town my home again. But one day he just walked in. I didn't recognise him at first, but I'll never forget his warm voice. We started talking and decided to catch up, so I invited him to my apartment. He had a couple of drinks and before I knew it we were making out. We both knew it was wrong - I would never break a home apart - but something told us we should continue. So we did. A couple of months later this girl with blue hair walked into the cafe asking for me. When I looked into her eyes I knew exactly who it was; I almost broke down crying in front of her. She yelled at me telling me she knew about me and Justin and it was then that I realised everything was going to go downhill, fast." She stopped again to look around her.

I remained silent as I thought about what she has told me so far. Justin told us that he married Isabelle before Addison was born, but it was the other way around.

"She came back a month later with tears in her eyes. She had been digging around in Justin's things and found her birth certificate. She asked for answers and I told her the same thing I just told you. So many emotions were running through me. As I looked at her for the first time in seventeen years all I could think was this is my daughter. My beautiful daughter. So she started to visit me and I got to know her and she got to know me. But now she's gone and I don't know what to do." She started to cry. I got up and sat next to her, throwing my arms around her shoulders. I should be furious at her right now, but I can't find it in me to be.
