An Open Letter To My Ex (Forbidden Love)

"Paano kung hindi ko na kaya ng dalawa? Papayag ka? Hindi mo ako pipigilan? Try mo." - This is it. Really. Always keep in mind, na hindi ako pumayag. Pinigilan kita. Maraming beses akong nagtry. Hindi kita madaling binitawan. Kaso naduwag ka. Right? I did my best, but I guess my best wasn't good enough. (Song lyrics, inapply ko lang.) I hate to realize that you had given me up. Hindi mo na kaya ng dalawa. Hindi mo na ako kayang mahalin. Hindi na. Akala ko dati, tanong lang 'yun. Then, time came at naging totoo na sya. No more to what if's. Wala ng "Paano kung...?". Being with you makes me a different person. With you, I become somebody else and I do things I never thought I could do. I appreciate the little things you do to make me feel special. We go out, hang out , and text with each other all day. Maybe for you, these mean nothing, but for me, every moment spent with you is treasured. I saved all our conversations in my phone. The last time we went out, you were hugging me close, and we were having our usual way of flirting. It felt good being with you even for stolen moments such as that. But then, when it was over, I felt so drained and heavy at the same time. Because you have your lovely wife, your precious sons, your family. Though, there were times that I have you over them, I KNEW I COULD NEVER HAVE YOU. 😢AND YOU WILL NEVER LEAVE THEM FOR ME. 😢And I never wished that to happen, I never wished to ruin your family. I don't want your children disrespect you because of me. For the nth time, I'm telling you this, I love you. Basta palagi mong tatandaan, Hindi ako pumayag, hindi kita binitawan. I fought for us. It was you who gave our relationship a failure. 😭😢💔
