My Brother's Fiancè

Fifteen- Good and Bad News

Itachi found his brother sitting at their living room drinking his coffee. Finding it odd that he is home he asked, " No work today?".
He then took a seat not far from his brother.

Sasuke heard him and felt his brother sat on the couch. " Just for two days". he answered after he nodded to his brother's question.

" Why are you here?", Sasuke asked. Taking another sip from his coffee mug.

" Otouto, I'm starting to think you don't like me here at all," Itachi said nonchalantly.

" You bet I do", he replied smirking. A few minutes passed, Sasuke asked again. " What do you want, Itachi?". Although he wont admit it , he did miss his older brother but knowing him staying at the estate during business hours is telling him something is up and so he asked.

" Am I not allowed to have an alone time with my baby brother?," Itachi replied smoothly. " I thought you miss me?" he continued.

It is clear that he is messing with Sasuke. He can see his victory as his brother gave him an Uchiha glare.

"You really don't think that'll scare me, do you?" Itachi said smirking.

"Whatever" he replied. He grabed and push the remote's button to turn on the Smart Tv. He was switching channels when he stopped at the news channel. He saw the writings on the screen flashing about their rival band. He decided to watch.

" Akatsuki, one of the famous band in our country has decided to go on separate ways. Toby, the manager and handler of the band, had confirmed that each of the band member had agreed to retire to pursue their true dream. Sadly, it was to leave the music industry. As we all know, Nagato is the younger brother of the former top model Kushina Uzumaki who is the beautiful wife of the business tycoon, Minato Namikaze. It has been reported that the brother-in-laws had recently signed a joint business contract. While the other members, Sasori who is now the head of the research team of their pharmaciutical company. Deidara is rocking the fashion industry with his own clothing line. Unfortunately, we don't have news about the infamous drummer of the band. So there you have it. I know this will make their fans sad but I guess we should be happy for them." the newscaster reported.

"So it's true", Sasuke commented.

"Hn" Itachi replied. " That's good. Don't you think, Sasuke?" he asked.

" What do you mean?" Sasuke asked raising his brow.

" Now that they decided to retire , your band technically own the music industry in the country " Itachi replied.

The Akatsuki and Hebi - Sasuke's band are the ones clashing head to head. Receiving nominations and awards one after another. They are making names abroad too. To Sasuke's opinion, although, popularity and album sales are sky rocketing for his band he believed that Akatsuki is still a few steps ahead of them. That's because the band is already an icon. But now that they decided to retire he thought that his brother is right.

Sasuke just "hn". Acknowledging what his Aniki said.

They continue to watch the news and turned off the tv after the said program ended.

" Sasuke, I'm getting married" Itachi said out of nowhere.

" You said that last night, didn't you?. Although, I doubt that." Sasuke replied.

" What do you mean by that?" Itachi asked his brow furrowed.

" Do you really want me to answer that?" Sasuke chuckled.

" Well, enlighten me , otouto." his older brother replied with a lopsided smile.

" You relationships never lasts. You change partners as if you're changing clothes. You never really liked being tied let alone be married. I can continue if you want" Sasuke snickered.
