My Brother's Fiancè

Thirty Nine - What he'd hope for

Sasuke got in his brother's car. He couldn't erase the image of his aniki and Naruto's passionate kiss in his mind. It was a sight that made his heart ache. He relaxed himself from his seat and closed his eyes. A minute passed and the car door opens revealing his brother. Itachi took his seat. Although he was surprised to see his brother inside his car, he didn't mind if Sasuke was there.

"How was your tour, Sasuke?" Itachi asked once settled.

" It was good." Sasuke replied eyes closed.

" Where's your car and Jugo?" Itachi inquires.

" I had the driver sent Jugo home. He wasn't feeling well." his otouto responded.

When Itachi's phone rang, Sasuke silently thank Kami because it would mean not having a conversation with his brother. He adjusted himself and thought of taking a nap while they're on their way home. Eventhough his brother didn't mention the name of the person on the other line, he could tell who it was base on their conversation. He can also hear the person's voice.

Naruto called Itachi to tell him that although their child understands the reason why they wont be able to go fishing, the little one is sulking.

" How long do you think he's gonna sulk like that?" Itachi asked Naruto.

" You know he isn't always like that. It's cruel to make a child  understands that he can't be with his parents because of work. Although, he understands it's for his future, we can't let this happen everytime. Especially now." Naruto explained.

Itachi sighed and looked at the window. " I'll see what I can do. If not, I'll have to think of something." he said.

He said goodbye and put down his phone after Naruto ended the call. He pinched the bridge of his nose as he close his eyes. A gesture he does when he is tired and stressed.

The car stopped at their manor. Sasuke was the first to get out of the car followed by Itachi. They were greeted by their maids and butler. He asked their butler about Jugo to which he was informed that their family doctor already checked on him and prescribed medicine to cure his fever and was advised to take some rest for the next 2-3 days while Itachi went straight to his office to check the papers and documents he had asked Kisame to send over their house earlier.

Just before Sasuke go to his room, he stopped at his Onii-san's office and told his brother that he will be the one to go with Sachi fishing if he can't make it. This surprised Itachi but thanked his baby brother.

Itachi called Naruto to inform him that Sasuke will be going with them fishing. He also made sure that his family is well guarded to avoid any accident like last time. It made Naruto comment how freaking protective his fiancè is but understands why.

Naruto woke up early the next day. He prepared all the things needed for the fishing as well as the food they'll eat at lunch. He was surprised when Itachi called him and said that his brother will be going fishing with them. He was glad that after the first encounter he had with Sasuke, which is by the way not a good impression, the latter seem to lay low on his insults and coldness towards him.

He had some horrible experiences being with the younger Uchiha before, especially during the times that he had to take Karin's place as a temporary singer. He used to hear words from Sasuke that he couldn't figured out if it were an insult or compliment. It was not until he was hurt twice by having confrontation with Sasuke to which he avoids now as much as possible.

After he got the things ready he went to Sachi's room. He'd guessed that the kid is already awake by now because unlike him, his little bundle of joy is a morning person. He knocks at the door a few times and when no one answered, he decided to come in.
