My Brother's Fiancè

Sixty - Decision II

Itachi look at Naruto as if he is analyzing his fiancé face and emotion.  Too bad for Naruto,  despite putting a smile on his face it's crystal clear that he was forcing a smile. He stood from his seat and help Naruto to sit up.

Itachi's worry look was replaced by a serious one as he waited for the blonde to speak. He sat on the bedside as he holds his hand putting the other hand on top of their intertwined hands. His attention focuses on the fragile blonde in front of him.

" Don't give me that look, hon. " Naruto smiled at the handsome raven.

" What do you expect? The moment you opened your eyes the other day,  you asked to be alone. And now, the moment you woke up,  you have the serious expression telling me you have something to say to me. " Itachi said casually.

" I'm sorry. I'm sorry for being inconsiderate. I just felt that I have to think it over first before talking to you or my family. " Naruto replied softly.

" The way you talk it must've been important." Itachi stated.

" It is important." he said.  He breathe in and out before he started talking again.

" I have regained my memory. " Naruto admitted.

Itachi stayed silent waiting for Naruto to continue.

" During my abduction, I saw memories flashing in front of me while I was in danger. At first I thought it was just because I was drugged and that I was hallucinating but that isn't the case. " Naruto said. Trying to compose himself. He knew any moment now he'll break down.

Itachi move his hand and touch Naruto's cheek causing the blonde to lean on the touch as he finds comfort from the raven's touch. Despite Itachi keeping a serious expression, he felt pain in his heart. He knew what Naruto went through and seeing him struggle to admit his memory has returned, he knew any moment Naruto will tell him what happened in his past because that's just the way he is.  Naruto hates being lied to and having to lie. He knew Naruto would not dare lie to him and even if it's for the sake of white lies, you can see through him,  he and Deidara is bad at lying. This made him feel mad at the perpetrator. If it weren't for the bastard having interest on the blonde brothers this will never have happened.

" I..  I was abused." Naruto said almost sobbing.

" Honey,  you don't have to force yourself..." Itachi was cut off by Naruto holding the hand of the other whose resting on his cheek. He shook his head as if telling Itachi that he has to do it.

" I was locked up in a room for a few days. I don't know how many are them exactly but I remembered how they take turns to abuse and harass me in every possible way." Naruto continued. Despite of him holding back his tears, his cerulean eyes couldn't take it anymore and allowed a tear to fall down his face.

Itachi's expression soften. He caress Naruto's cheek and using his thumb, he wipes the tear from the blonde's face.

" I.. ( he breathe in and out catching his breath)... It fucking hurts... I felt I am the dirtiest creature God has ever made. I couldn't accept the fact that I have experienced those cruel things.. " the blonde said. He is now crying. He put his hands on his face, covering his face as he continued to cry.

Itachi moves closer and hug his fiancé. He rub Naruto's back to calm him. It is rare to see such gesture from an Uchiha let alone from Itachi, an Uchiha who is known to be the most expressionless Uchiha out of all Uchiha. But he let down his usual stoic expression for his beloved, only for Naruto.

"Sshh... Sweetheart... Don't say that.  I'm here. I'll protect you. " Itachi said in assuring way.

Naruto knew his fiancé indeed can protect him but what can he possibly do at this point. The damage has been done. Aside from the fact he was saved recently from being raped,  it didn't change the fact that he was indeed abused from the past, physically and mentally.

His heart aches more the way Itachi calls him with endearment making him feel more loved but it pains him. He hugs Itachi back and cling to him as if his life depends on him. He is now in a crying mess. Itachi allowed him to cry but still worries that the next thing that will happen is Naruto having a panic attack.

" Honey, whatever happened, that's all in the past. Now is different. I'm sorry I failed to protect you when you needed me the most but I swear this will never happen again. I wouldn't mind getting my hands dirty if it's for your sake or our son's sake. " Itachi said with determination.

Naruto knew what Itachi said is true. He has no doubt that Itachi can do everything when it comes to him and his son. He also believes that Itachi wouldn't have a second thought risking his life if it meant that he and his son will be safe. The more he thinks how great his future husband is,  the more he felt small.

" Just what did I do to deserve someone like you? " Naruto thought.

Itachi feeling Naruto was trying to escape from his hold let go. He looks at his fiancé whose face is red and his azure eyes swelling from all the cries. It pains him to see the miserable state of his beloved fiancé.

He  grinds his teeth suppressing his anger. This wouldn't have happened if it weren't for the pervert kidnapping Naruto. He's now regretting listening to Deidara about not touching the bastard since what his brother did was more than enough to make the man suffered. He wanted to hurt the said pervert,  no,  he wanted to crash him. He wanted him to suffer more than what he deserve. His thought was cut when Naruto calls his name.

Naruto tried to calm himself. He needed to tell his future husband what he was thinking to do. He has to do it even if it means hurting the man who loves him unconditionally,  even if it means losing him,  even if it means he himself dies in pain.

"Itachi.. " Naruto called his attention. Itachi look at him.

Their eyes met. Itachi wearing the most gentle look he has ever shown to anybody else and his captivating eyes bearing the love he has for Naruto. These made Naruto reach his breaking point. He knew those stare is a rare sight. He knew those sharp onyx eyes hides Itachi's real emotion. It felt as if a lump appears on Naruto's throat hindering him to talk but he has to speak. He has to tell him what he wanted to happen. It took a few minutes before Naruto was able to talk and Itachi didn't want to rush him. He let Naruto take his time to speak.

Naruto wipes the tears on his face,  tried to fix himself but that didn't seem to work.  The moment Naruto opens his mouth to speak, Itachi's heart skipped a beat. His eyes slightly widen in shock and was unable to react for a few seconds.

He wished none of all this things happened.

" Itachi.. Let's call off our wedding. " Naruto said. A tear falls down his face again never leaving Itachi's gaze on him.
