Thirteen - Unexpected

↪ At the Uchihas estate. . .

It's been awhile since the Uchihas has had dinner together. With Itachi finally home, Mikoto couldn't ask for more. She'd been bugging his husband Fugaku to send his eldest son back home.

Although, it took six years for it to happen. She was thankful for her brother-in-law, Izuna because he finally decided to settle abroad with his long time girlfriend.

Izuna has always been a free spirit. He lived his life in his own way. Never want anyone to dictate him on what to do and what not to do. He went to different places living his life to the fullest. As what he always say, you only live once so make the most of it. Have fun!😉

He'd changed since the passing of his older brother Madara in a plane crashed. Causing Fugaku, his another older brother, to take over their company at a young age. Fugaku did his best to raise, guide and protect his only family. When Izuna graduated in college with masters degree. He decided to travel abroad. Going back and forth from one place to another. As if there's no end to his bucket list.

It only changed when he met Naruto again after six years of leaving him to Itachi and Shisui's care. Seeing as how the kid he saved back then lived his life after the accident made him wonder how he has been living his own all these years.

He met Naruto's child, Sachi and got close to him.When he heard about Itachi planning to marry Naruto, his views in life have changed. He wanted to have his own family. Like his older brother, Fugaku. He decided to take over their business in Paris for Itachi to go back home.

" How long d'you plan to stay this time?," Sasuke asked his brother.

" What?, you don't want me here?,"  Itachi's answer was a question. To which Sasuke just "tch". It's obvious that he's trying to annoy him.

Itachi snickered and said, " I plan to stay for good. After all, Oji-san can manage the company and Toby will be there to help him".

" Toby?, isn't he the Akatsuki's handler?," Sasuke asked. Curious why his cousin from a distant relative would leave the band.

" Not anymore... It hasn't been announced yet but they are disbanding," Itachi said casually.

Sasuke surprised to hear the news but just "hn".

" Does that mean that Nagato will be back home?," Mikoto inquired. His husband just listens to their conversation.

Itachi "hn" as an answer. They continue to eat until they finished their dinner. They decided to stay at their living room to spend some more time before they go to their bed rooms.

" Mom, Dad, I want you to meet someone." Itachi said to break the silence.

" Is that a new investor?" his father asked.

" No father, someone special." Itachi replied smoothly. His father raised his brow. " Sounds interesting." Fugaku thought.

Sasuke although quiet thought the same thing. He's never heard his brother stay long in a relationship let alone be serious.

" You don't say..." Mikoto said , she stopped midway to let her son fill in the blank for her.

" If you're thinking what I'm thinking then you're correct mom." Itachi replied in a smirk.

" Come on honey, don't be like that." his mother said whining. And his dad just smiled seeing his wife's demeanor just cracked.

" Just cut to the chase, Nii-san," Sasuke intervened. This made Itachi amused. It's been awhile since he heard Sasuke called him Nii-san. So he said the good news and couldn't wait to see his family's reaction.
