My Brother's Fiancè

Forty Three - The plan

Itachi was reading some of the documents that needed his signature before signing it. While he was at it, his phone rang. The caller is none other than his fiancè.

" Honey, you called?" he said answering the phone.

" D'you have a minute?" Naruto asked.

" What is it?" he asked.

" You see... Dad wants Dei to attend the party on Friday as our company's representative." Naruto started.

" And?" Itachi asked raising his brow although his fiancè couldn't see it. He knew there's something his fiancè have to ask from him and he's already thinking how to deny it without making him feel dejected.

" I told him to bring the trio (Kisame, Kakuzu and Hidan) with him but he refused. Then I told him I'll go with him instead but he insists of going alone" Naruto said.

Itachi could imagine Naruto's pouting. He had a faint smile on his face, thinking how cute Naruto is when he does that. He remembered something before saying, "Isn't it Sachi's field trip on Friday?."

" It is. Which is why I'd like him to bring them (Kisame, Kakuzu and Hidan) with him but he flat out refused."Naruto said.

" If your brother doesn't like the idea, then let him be." Itachi responded.

"You know I can't do just that. Who knows what'll happen if I let him be alone at such a crowded place." the blonde said.

" What would you like me to do?" Itachi asked.

" You'll be there, aren't you?" he asked.

" I will be on a business trip that day. Didn't I tell you?. Sasuke will be the one to represent the company. I could ask Sasuke to watch over Deidara for you. " Itachi replied.

"You did. I must have forgotten. But I don't think Uchiha-san will like the idea." Naruto said thinking.

" It's not as if Sasuke will guard your trouble-maker Nii-san?" the raven said with a faint smile. He could already imagine how his otouto will refuse him.

Deidara isn't really a trouble-maker. It just so happen that whenever he is at some place, because of his attractive appearance and finds it hard to reject any person who approach him, he'll end up unable to leave a conversation without offending them. So much for keeping up a good impression. This, most of the time, his friends will intervene and try to get him out of the situation but ends up in a trouble. Either the person he's talking with would get upset because they feel like wanting to claim the blonde beauty or his friends ends up in a fight.

" Itachiii.. " Naruto said whining.. He knew his fiancè wouldn't want to look after his brother because, A- they used to bicker with one another, B- his brother is just so stubborn, C- his brother doesn't like his fiancè and vice-versa.

" I'll see what I can do, alright?" Itachi replied after sighing. He finds it hard not to give in to Naruto.

Outside Itachi's office, Shisui was about to open the door when Yugito immediately went to the door blocking his way to enter his bestfriend's office.

" I'm sorry, Mr. Uchiha is on a very important call. You can't go inside. You can sit there and wait while I check." she said as she pointed the couch located at the side of her table.

" No, thank you." he said as he walk pass the blonde woman and grabbed the door knob, push open the door following the secretary.

When he entered the room he heard his bestfriend talking on the phone and by his tone he could tell whose on the other line. Just in time for Itachi to turn his chair facing his door when his bestfriend Shisui showed up with Yugito at his back.
