Sixty Three - Result

The next day, as planned Deidara cleared all his schedule for the next three days. He asked Konan to attend to those meetings that he won't be able to cancel and take over his business while he is away. On the other hand, Yahiko whose the assistant to the President of the Uzumaki-Namikaze Corporation who happens to be Deidara is helping it's CEO Minato to run the corporation.

It was indeed a tough job for Deidara to keep tabs on both his personal and family business. As early as now, Minato is training him with all the works on their Corporation, after all he will be the one to take over instead of Kyuubi. The latter has made a decision to take over their hospital once his grandparents retire.

Deidara parked the car at the school's parking lot which was near to the principal's office.  He has gotten a call from Iruka this morning and was told to fetch Sachi because he has been noticing the change in the child's behaviour who had been awfully quiet these past few days which made very concern. He knew that Naruto was in the hospital and kept it from the child to avoid him being worried but it worries Iruka more that the child is worried not hearing from his Chichi.

The kid was silently sitting at the couch near the principal's desk. Iruka gave him somw cookies to nibble while he is waiting for Deidara to come by. He heard a knock at his door and answered to the pwrson behind the door to come inside.

To say the kid was surprise was an understatement, once he saw hia blonde uncle entered the room and smiled at him, he  run to his uncle and hug him tight. Deidara was taken aback but gladly accepted the tight embrace of his nephew. He look at Iruka and the other juat smile seeing how the child change his mood.

" Uncle your back! " the kid said in excitement.

" I did! Missed me?! " Deidara winked.

" Well, yeah? I haven't seen you since you and Chichi went to uncle Gaara's." the kid replied softly.

The sound of the kid's voice made Deidara regret not being able to look after his nephew instead of being tied up with business schedules.

" I'm sorry.  Don't worry baby. Uncle will be with you for a few days until your Chichi come home. " he promised.

" Does that mean that Chichi will be home soon? Why does Papa never mention it and why does Chichi doesn't call me?  Did he forget about me? " the kid asked sadly.

" Well... Uhmm.. You know how your Chichi is,  right? He would never forget about you. It's just that the place where he is doesn't have good reception and can't make a call. And your Papa may not have mentioned it but maybe because he wanted it to be a surprise. And now that I have told you about it it won't be a surprise anymore and your devil of a father will be mad at me for saying so. " he explained with a smile holing that the smart kid would buy it and found at ease when the kid giggle and responded that he won't tell Itachi about the surprise he just spill.

" Iruka-chan,  thank you for looking after him. I'll take him home now. " Deidara said and Iruka just nodded.

They already had a quite long conversation over the phone about Sachi's behaviour and has decided to send the child home for today.

The kid was happy having a time off from his school approved by their principal. As they say,  the kid is smart and has caught on what's going on so when he approached Iruka and gave him a peck on his cheek he said , " Thanks Ojiisan. You're the best! ".

Iruka just chuckled and replied,  " Just for today,  kid. "

Deidara asked the kid to go on first and meet him at outside which the kid obeyed.

" Thank you Iruka-chan. It's a shame that you caught on Sachi's behaviour before we did.  I'm pretty sure Naruto would be mad knowing this. " Deidara said.
