Seventeen - Replacement

After a few days, Karin was discharged from the hospital. It has been two weeks passed since the accident and they haven't heard her talk. She doesn't leave her room either. She is always seen spacing out, looking at nowhere.

Kushina understood why she is acting the way she is because she knows the pain of losing a child. It pained her so much that she almost lost her sanity. She wants to make sure that it'll never happen to her.

Suigetsu had to take his leave longer. He just couldn't leave Karin by herself seeing how she is right now. He asked Sasuke for a few days leave which his bestfriend despite disagreeing, gave him another week. Sasuke may be cold most of the time but he's still human. He doesn't need to be in his bestfriend's situation to understand what Suigetsu's been going through.

Sasuke is currently at their manor. He needed fresh air in order to think of a better plan to resolve their band's ongoing issue. The news of Karin's car accident has been the talk of the town. It has even escalated into their band disbanding because of their bassist and vocalist's absence , the rumor is just gotten worse and worse.

The thing is, they have so much commitments floating in right now. They have concerts and tours scheduled in a few days. Some of it they were able to cancel but only a small percentage. What really worries them are the commitments they agreed with their families business partners and investors. They are determined to fix it as soon as possible.

Sasuke called for their keyboardist to discuss their plan. Shikamaru, despite his lazy attitude is reliable in making strategic plans for situations like this. After all, he is one of the smartest people Sasuke had ever known, well aside from himself and his older brother, that is. Seriously speaking, Shikamaru is a genius. Had he never been lazy in class before, there is no doubt that he'd be the top in his class. Even Sasuke said that.

Shikamaru bumped into Ino and Sakura, who was on their way to TenTen's tea house where they saw Neji, who visited TenTen. When Sasuke invited him over to the manor, he invited the three as well.

" Sasuke , you have company" Juugo said as he led the others to the garden. Sasuke was sitting with his eyes focused on his laptop's screen.

" It's been a while, Sasuke ", Neji asked.

Sasuke looked up and was quite surprised to see Neji, Ino and Sakura. He nodded acknowledging the presence of his friends. Since Sasuke formed the Hebi with Shikamaru , they seldom see each other and most of the time they aren't complete when they get together.

" What got you so worked up?", Sakura asked although she has an idea.

" What else?, they've been the talk of the town" Ino answered for Sasuke.

"What a drag", Shikamaru said.

" So the right timing isn't right but then it may be right" Neji said. Making his friends confused.

" What do you mean? " Ino asked. While Sasuke is just listening.

" You'd thought that the Akatsuki's retirement is a good and right timing to fully conquer the music industry however since Karin's incident took place, it is definitely not a good timing." Neji explained, arms crossed in his chest.

" And what could be the other right timing then?" Ino asked raising her blonde eyebrow. While Sasuke and Shikamaru is waiting for Neji to answer.

" You needed a replacement for the position the couple vacated, correct?", he said.

" If you're thinking what I'm thinking, I guess it's a best option however that is if we can get a hold of him" Shikamaru said.

"Who are you talking about?" Sakura and Ino asked at the same time.
