My Brother's Fiancè

Thirty two - A safe trip

Itachi left Sasuke's room at five in the morning. He didn't leave his brother until he was sure that Sasuke was at peace in his sleep. The whole time he was at his brother's room he thought of who was the person his brother talked about. He doesn't want to ask him if Sasuke doesn't want to speak about it but one thing is for sure, he'll make a way to find this person.

A knock on his door disturb him from thinking. He heard his mother's voice calling for him and he answered for her to come in.

" Did you sleep?" she asked her eldest son. Seeing that Itachi eyes told her that her eldest hasn't had any sleep yet.

" Barely. I just left his room thirty minutes ago." Itachi replied.

" How was Sasuke?" she asked worried.

" He was whimpering and grunting after he fell asleep from crying. Did he always have a bad dream?" Itachi asked his mom.

" Not very often but he kept on having that same dream, I tried to ask him but he never answered" her response to her son.

" Do you know who was it, Mom?" Itachi asked.

" He never really talk to me about it. Last night was the first time I've heard about his dream. I guess he's more open to you than us, his parents. " Mikoto said.

Itachi stayed silent and was thinking of something when her mom asked what he was thinking. Mikoto knew that when his eldest is quiet, there must be something going in his mind. She suspected it has something to do with his youngest.

"Mom, I need to know what happened to Sasuke. If he refuse to talk, I'll have it my way. Dad wouldn't like it once he heard of it" Itachi said.

" I understand. Your father maybe strict and always wants to do the right thing but I believe he wouldn't let your brother be hurt" Mikoto said.

She knew how righteous his husband is and for that reason she feared that Fugaku might send his son to jail just to do the right thing. However, she loves her sons and wouldn't want them to get hurt. If she need to beg for Sasuke to be spared, she'll do it whole heartedly.

" I wouldn't want any of us be hurt, Mom. That's why I want to know who is this person Sasuke have hurt in the past so that we'll know how to proceed" Itachi replied.

" Just let me know if you ever found something" Mikoto responded.

Itachi has many things in his mind right now. He decided to start in Konoha High. He figured if he can get something from there. He also thought of asking Sasuke's friends. If nothing happened, he'll have Kisame investigate for him.

" Sasuke's flight is at midnight. I don't know if I can talk to him before seeing him off. Naruto and Sachi will be going with me later after office at Deidara's boutique for fitting." Itachi told his mom.

" The private plane is at the Uzumaki's airfield so me and Kushina decided to stay at their estate to have a family dinner before seeing your brother and the rest off" Mikoto said.

" Maybe we can just do the fitting there. I'll tell Naruto about that. Is Dad coming?" Itachi asked.

" Ofcourse he would. He took the day off to have some bonding with Minato and your son. They planned to take Sachi somewhere." Mikoto said.

" Naruto is getting worried how Sachi's grandparents spoiled him rotten" Itachi said.

" You can't blame us. He is our only grandson. We can spoiled him as much as we could." Mikoto said smiling.

" Please go easy on spoiling him. " Itachi said with a smile on his face.

" He's your only child Itachi that is why your father is going all out for him. I bet Minato has the same thought. We don't know how soon your brother will have his own but for now just let us be. Although, it would be nice to have another grandson or grand daughter from you and Naruto" his mom's reply making Itachi gulp.
