Fifty Seven - I don't care

Itachi and Kyuubi arrived at Gaara's mansion. Gaara greets them. The two just nodded to acknowledge him. Itachi's eyes averted looking for Kisame. He was surprise to see Shisui with him looking busy on the laptop.

" How is it going?" Itachi asked once he got closer to his bestfriend.

" Sasuke and the others are in the location now. We were able to confirm the target dragging a body whose hidden in a jacket." Shisui said.

" We already sent people there as back up." Kisame said.

Itachi and Kyuubi look at Kisame as if interrogating him because they knew he suppose to guard Naruto.

" Don't look at me like that. Naruto's look is more dangerous than yours when he asks me to look for Deidara." Kisame said. He knew he'll get a scolding from what happened but didn't bother as much because it was true, Naruto's request maybe polite with a smile but the hidden consequence of disobeying him is unthinkable.

" Did something happen to Dei too?" Kyuubi asked worried.

" Nope, I found him being " hostage " in a conversation by some foreigners. Apparently, Naruto was right. There have been guests that has been eyeing Deidara and so he told me to pick him up." Kisame replied.

Itachi's brow furrowed. " Where are they?". he asked.

" They are in a hotel about three hours drive from here." Shisui said.

" Shisui, I want this to be a secret. If anything comes out. Bury it. I'll go get Naruto." Itachi said.

" I'll come with you. I want to be the first one to kill the bastard who dare touch my brother." Kyuubi said and everyone else in the room shivers.

They knew Kyuubi has a bad temper because of the rumors about the Uzumakis but didn't think they'll witness the menacing look and voice from him.

"Any news about this incident must be killed. I don't want our family suffer like it did years ago." Kyuubi said which was a clear instruction.

" I had talk to the media about this, I had all cameras, phone and other gadgets confiscated. " Kisame said.

" I'm sorry that this happen in our watch." Gaara said.

" You don't have to. This is just one of those unfortunate cases. " Kyuubi said. He knew that his future cousin-in-law is not to blame. He looks at the people at his surrounding and couldn't' find his cousin.

" Karin is at the other room with Temari. She fainted probably due to stress. " Kiba stated as he catch on Kyuubi must be looking for her.

" I see. Please look after her. If something happens to her and the baby, I'll be in with my parents." Kyuubi said.

" You can use my car outside. " Gaara offered.

Itachi nodded and leave with Kyuubi.

" He's so calm. I wonder what he's thinking?" Kiba said.

" You should know by now that when an Uchiha is calm whenever there is a serious matter, that's the time you should worry." Shikamaru said.

" He's most probably plotting dead scenes of the culprit. Not to mention Kyuubi is with him. They might fight who will kill the culprit first." Kisame said snickering.

" Kisame don't scare them." Shisui reprimands Kisame.

" But it's probably true. With Kyuubi around who has inherited Aunt Kushina's temper, no one would be able to get around with this without paying the price." Gaara said in a flat tone.
