Twenty Nine - Take care of our son

Sasuke left his mom and nephew at the living room. He really didn't want to go to the Hyuga's residence however he run out of excuses not to come over this time. He had no choice but to attend the party. Eventhough it's a children's party, his friends will all be present so you can consider it as a get together where in all of them will be there.

The Hyuga's are also the Uchiha's business partner. Well technically, it's between Neji and Sasuke's partnership. They have two to three five star hotels abroad that Neji and Sasuke have invested to build. They started their partnership as soon as Sasuke graduated from college.

Sasuke had used all his savings to fund the construction. Not that he needed to because he can easily asks his parents for financial support but because he wanted to prove that he can do it by himself that's why he didn't seek help to his family when Neji and him decided to invest on a hotel business.

They shared all the expenses in building their first business partnership. It didn't take long for their investments to return. The popularity Sasuke has being in the music industry , not to mention his family name, and all the connections the Hyuuga's had with the prominent families abroad helped their hotel be recognized as one of the five star hotel abroad.

After he took the shower, he grabbed some casual clothes and shoes that will suit the ocassion. He dried his hair using a blower. He took his phone and car keys. He quickly check his phone for the time and notice a text message from Karin. He read it,

" I heard Sachi is at your manor. Could you bring him over at Kiba's?".

Sasuke raised his brow. He replied, " Not sure. Dad wants to see him and he's on his way home.".

He then leave his room and go downstairs to tell her mom he's leaving. When he reached their living room. He notice the tyke was all alone looking at the pictures displayed on the wall and shelves.

Sasuke asked the kid which startled the child. " Where's mom?".

"Obaa-chan left for a moment. She had a phone call." Sachi answered. The kid is now focused on the picture of the two young boys sitting on the floor. One was older than the other. The older one appears to be helping the younger one to stand up as the younger one was kneeling in front,with his hands held by the older one. To Sachi, they appeared to be look alike.

Sasuke noticed his nephew's eyes glued on his and his brother's picture when they were younger. He was about to say something to Sachi when Mikoto stepped in the living room.

" Sasuke honey, you're going out?" she asked.

Sasuke who was interrupted by his mom's question answered, " Yes, I'm going to Hyuga's. It's their son's birthday and the rest will be coming over. I might be late though. Just tell Dad I won't be joining dinner ."

Sachi hearing the 'birthday' perked up and looked at his uncle. Mikoto saw the quick smile from her grandson's adorable face while looking at Sasuke which quickly faded when he thought about something.

"About that, your Dad seems to be coming home late. He drove back to the office for an emergency meeting. It seems your brother will be late too." Mikoto said.

"Hn," Sasuke's response. He kissed his mom's cheek and said his goodbye. Mikoto went to Sachi to explain that his Ojii-san will be late and they might have to stick to each other for awhile.

A few steps and Sasuke stopped from his tracks. He looked at his mother and nephew. He saw the kid's sad face when talking to Mikoto. Although he smiled, you can tell he's trying to hide his disappointment learning that Fugaku will be going home late and he has to go home by night.
