My Brother's Fiancè

Thirty Eight - Hurt

They all gathered in the dining room for dinner. Just before everyone is settled and ready to eat. Their butler announced the arrival of Naruto's cousin and Itachi's brother.

" Sweetheart, why didn't you call us to fetch you?" Kushina asked as the young red hair lady kissed her cheek. She also kissed Minato's cheek before answering, " I wanted to surprise you. And someone wants to see the little one in person".

" Really, who could that be?" Kushina asked curious.

" Welcome back, Otouto" Itachi said when he saw his little brother behind Suigetsu to which the young raven responded with a "hn".

" Uncle Sasuke!" the kid stood up from his seat and run to his raven haired uncle for a kiss and hug.

Sasuke who was surprised with the child's sweetness didn't realize how his body reacted to the child when his shirt was tugged by the little one, a sign for him to lean down for a kiss and embrace. He poked the child's forehead, a gesture that his nephew is so familiar with because Itachi always does it.

" How are you?" Sasuke asked not caring how the others look at him.

" I'm very fine, Uncle. How was the trip?" Sachi asked.

" It's not a trip kiddo. We were gone for work." Suigetsu answered ruffling the kid's hair making the kid pout. He hates when someone ruffles his hair but at the same time he likes it as he felt that it's one way for the person to show how he likes him.

" Aren't you forgeting someone, Sachi?" Suigetsu asked the kid smiling, teasing his fiancè whose obviously sulking because it was Sasuke he noticed first.

The kid's eyes went wide as he remembered his redhaired Aunty. "Aunty!" he rushed to Karin who is desperately hiding her jealousy when she saw her nephew getting all excited after seeing Sasuke.

" Come on Aunty, I didn't forget you. Please don't give me that face" the kid pleaded with his puppy eyes.

" What face am I making?" Karin asked innocently. This time it shows irritation on her pretty face.

" You know I love you right? So.. will you smile for me.. pretty please?" Sachi said sweetly with a pleading eyes.

Everyone knows that there is no one better than the kid in charming the people around him(much like his Chichi). They knew Karin lost the battle when she smiled and hugged the ball of energy in her arms.

" Alright, enough of that, come and join us. We also have a special guest." Minato said.

Yugito who had witnessed everything remained silent. She couldn't tell what she'll feel after seeing Sasuke and Karin. Karin used to be her close friend back then and Sasuke was dating her in HighSchool.

Konan was about to stand from her seat when Karin stopped her and chose a seat beside Sasuke which was beside his Aniki's. Konan was sitting on Karin's seat (designated family seat) not knowing that Karin would show up. She was told by Nagato to sit between him and Yahiko earlier.

When Sasuke, Suigetsu and Karin settled on their seats. Suigetsu noticed the blonde woman in front of them and said, "Aren't you...?" he was cut off by Karin when she said her name, " Yugito?!, What are you doing here?!" she asked surprised.

The blonde woman awkwardly smiled at her and when she turned her gaze to Sasuke, she saw his usual stoic expression.

" We invited her over, sweetheart." Minato answered.

" Do you know each other, honey?" Kushina asked Karin.

" She's Nii, Yugito. She's the one who saved Sachi with Ken." Naruto stated.
