My Brother's Fiancè

Fifty Eight - Reality

Sasuke was standing next to Naruto's bed when Deidara opened the door to his brother's room. He finished talking to Kyuubi a few minutes ago and decided to check on his otouto. It seems Sasuke did not notice someone has entered  the room while he was staring at the sleeping blonde.

He was in deep thought. The scene he witnessed as soon as he got inside that room gave the greatest fright of his life. Had they not found where Naruto was, had they arrived late, his dobe would've been raped and worst could've died if the old pervert decided to.

He reach for Naruto's hand and gave it a slight squeeze.

" I'm sorry." Sasuke utter in a very low voice but enough to be heard by Deidara whose standing at the door.

He is sorry because he was almost late saving his dobe. He was sorry because the pervert was able to leave marks on Naruto's neck and collar bone. The more he looks at it,  the more he felt mad at himself.

" I was happy just seeing you smile even though it wasn't for me. I thought I could just be contented with you being around and happy with my Nii-san. But I was wrong. I was damn wrong. " Sasuke said, his voice almost trembling. He's holding back because he didn't want to abruptly wake Naruto up and saw him in such a state.

He remembers how Naruto can easily see through him. Back when they were together,  Naruto never missed asking if he was okay whenever he isn't in a good spirit without having to say anything to him or despite him showing the emotionless fascade, Naruto would always caught on his true feelings. The only thing the blonde didn't catch on was his true feelings for him. And it makes him wonder how dense and stupid his dobe was for being so oblivious to his feelings for him.

Deidara understood what the young Uchiha meant. He didn't have to ask for explanation because it was clear that Sasuke loves his brother. But since when? From what Sasuke blurted out it seems as though he is regretting something. That's what made him curious.

Before he silently close the door.  He saw Sasuke brushing Naruto's cheeks with gentleness and affection. He holds his breath while being shocked when Sasuke gave the sleeping blonde a peck on his forehead.

Sasuke finally notice someone's inside the room after he gave Naruto a kiss. He stared blankly at Deidara while the other pretended to just entered the room and didn't witness the whole incident.

" Sasuke, you are here. " Deidara casually said.

" Hn. " Sasuke's response.

" Kyuubi and your brother is on their way. " he informed.

Sasuke gave him a nod and proceed to walk away. While Deidara couldn't hold his curiosity.

" Just who are you?" Deidara asked.

Sasuke stopped on his track and waited for Deidara to finish his question. He knew that with what happened in that room,  he'll be questioned by the blonde.

" Just who are you to my brother?  You seemed to know him long enough." Deidara asked.  He didn't want to blatantly ask the young Uchiha about Naruto like are they two lovers in the past?  But that couldn't be, right?  Because when he met Naruto, he is already in a relationship with Itachi. But it could be since Naruto don't remember his past.

" It doesn't concern you. " Sasuke just said and was about to open the door when Deidara spoke again.

" It's not right to fall inlove with your brother's fiancè." he said.

" I'm not the only one. " Sasuke replied. He sensed that the older blonde has feelings for his brother but just like what he told him. Even if it's true that Deidara have feelings for his brother,  it doesn't concern him.
