Thirty Five - The new secretary

It's only a week before the Hebi's concert tour is over. After that, they'll return to Japan. Both Karin and Sasuke couldn't wait to go back home. They wanted to see Sachi. Despite being told the child is alright, the two of them isn't satisfied unless they see it for themselves. This is after the fact that they have been talking to the little one through Skype.

Sasuke can't help but think about Naruto. He can't just randomly call him and ask if he was alright. That will be awkward. He cared about Naruto. Although he despised him at one point because he thought Naruto betrayed him, when he saw him after six years of Naruto went missing, his hatred slowly vanished. He realized how much he loved the blonde. Unfortunately, just when he finally admitted to himself that he's more hurt than angry with Naruto, when the blonde showed up, he was introduced as his Aniki's fiancè. It hit him pretty hard. He was torn between his beloved Onii-san and the only person he truly loved. In the end, he chose to let go of his feelings for the blue-eyed blonde however the more he pretend it's all over for him and the blonde, the more he realize he loves him so much. So much that it hurts seeing him happy with his older brother, Itachi.

They are currently rehearsing the last set of songs they'll perform later tonight. Half of the songs from their album is written by their anonymous song writer composer. The song that Karin is currently singing is one of the songs Naruto sang when he took Karin's place few months ago. It reminded Sasuke how the song was delivered by his blonde. He felt the emotions Naruto was trying to convey to the audience as he sings.

Back then he wasn't comfortable being on stage to perform along side Naruto which made him skipped some practice that involves him and Naruto's duet. Kiba had voiced out how unprofessional Sasuke was that made the raven pissed and almost hit his friend. Naruto had to stop them and Sasuke accidently pushed Naruto and he ended up having a sprained ankle and broke his high-heeled boots. Despite being hurt, Naruto showed up on stage bare foot and unable to walk properly. Naruto sang the song until the very end while enduring the pain. He was sent to the hospital for check up after. Itachi had scolded Deidara for letting Naruto wore the boots without even knowing that his baby brother was at fault of Naruto's accidental fall. Naruto had lied about the accident and said that he took a wrong step while walking and ended up being hurt.

Sasuke cringed at the thought. There have been several occassions where Naruto was hurt because of his foolishness and he regretted it.

"Sasuke?.. Are you still with us? You spaced out." Suigetsu said.

Sasuke gave his bestftiend a confused look which Shikamaru commented " What a drag".

Kiba snickered. Since they learned what happened between the father and son (Naruto & Sachi) both Karin and his raven haired friend is unable to focus.

" Why don't you just call him, Sasuke? I'm sure he wouldn't mind." Kiba suggested.

Again, Sasuke gave a confused look. "Let's just start over" Karin suggested. She had a feeling Sasuke wasn't even listening to the song.

"Hn" Sasuke simply replied. Suigetsu doesn't know if he'll be pissed or what with how Sasuke's all over the place but responded, " Alright, from the top, honey".
