Forty - Their story Part 1

" You like him, do you?" she asked him. She had long, straight blonde hair, dark eyes and she wore a red lipstick.

The blonde boy who has an exotic look due to his whiskered like birthmark on his cheeks was stunned with the question and took a few seconds to reply.

" Yeah, I do. He's a bastard I know. But he's a good guy. " he replied.

" You know what kind of like I am talking about, right?" she asked again. She wanted to make sure that the boy knew exactly what she was asking and she wanted to confirm her suspicion.

" What... do you mean?" he asked stuttering.

" The kind of like you feel for someone special" she casually said.

" Why asked such a question ?" he asked again.

" Nothing.. I just noticed that despite of you two bickering, you seem to be close." she explained.

" Does it bother you if I do like him?" he asked.

She stared at his sapphire blue eyes. She need not to answer it nor hear the exact words she wants to hear from him. His eyes tells what he truly feels for the raven. She saw how his eyes averted to where the raven was. She saw how he smile just by the sight of Sasuke.

" Just be careful." she replied. She knew he may not have heard what she said for his attention is on Sasuke.

She felt hurt knowing that the guy he likes would never look at her the way he does with the most popular guy in their school.

Naruto was discussing their project together when he notice that the raven had his eyes on a certain someone.

" Sasuke?" he called his attention.

" Hn?" he replied.

" Who are you looking at?" Naruto asked eventhough he knew where his eyes set on.

" You are friends with her, right? " Sasuke asked Naruto referring to the blonde girl whose been surrounded by boys at their class.

" She's my partner in library duties." Naruto replied. Sensing what could be his next question but before Sasuke could utter a word, the said girl went to their direction.

" Naruto-kun, it's time we head to the library" she said.

Sasuke looked at her up and down that didn't go unnotice from Naruto. Naruto felt his heart tightened seeing how Sasuke screened her partner.

" I'm sorry. I didn't realize it. I'll follow you in a few. Just have to finish discussing our project with Sasuke." Naruto explained.

" Not a problem." she responded. She about to walk away when Sasuke look at Naruto and he wished that he didn't meet his eyes for he knows what Sasuke wants.

"Wait!. It was rude of me not to introduce you. Yugito, this is Sasuke. Sasuke this is Yugito." Naruto said and was surprised to see how Sasuke flirts with thw blonde. He didn't really need to because by the mere presence of the Uchiha, all girls are going crazy.

" Nice to meet you, Sasuke... kun. I'm sorry to have to bother you two but it's time for our duties at the library. I'll go on ahead, Naruto. Just be quick, alright?" she said stuttering. She knew the guy is good looking but didn't realize he's more handsome up close and personal.
